Bonsoir,

today I hereby contact your company on the behalf of La Maréchausée de Gaule. And while no fleet in Gallia or Sirius could challenge our professionalism, Enclave forces are in a difficult situation when it comes to resources and civilian matters. Especially at expeditions, excavation of local resources, civil constructions and so on. I heard that your direct expertise is at shipbuilding, it is indeed in high demand, but there's a wide arrange of problems that have to be resolved in controlled space. In case if you wouldn't want to work on additional matters directly, we request you to invest in infrastructure among other things.

I was assigned to keep the order in Roussillon, here we have some criminal and terrorist presence. In addition to aiding the main Enclave efforts to establish at Aquitane and Brittany, I would like you to check out this sector. While Toulouse is apparently not suitable for colonization in the near future, I would like you to study the possibility to dig up some resources from deeper ground layers where metal and minerals maybe not irradiated at all. We could use war prisoners to do work on the ground, but we need specialists to know where and how used those. I would also appreciate the study and forecast when the planet may recover from the fallout, if possible.

I hope for understanding, I am a naval person and some things may be formulated in the wrong way, you may correct me at some matters, I like to learn. As you understand if I will get in charge of civilian building, it will lead to a lot of mistakes. This is why it was decided to address our loyal and wealthy citizens to put their talents to use for the sake of our cause.

I hope to hear from you soon, so we can discuss the details.

Mademoiselle Dior,

Salutations de Quillan! It is good to see that the Enclave still dedicates efforts to uphold the law with police forces in its territories despite the difficult position. A commendable initiative for the future of Gallia, and you have my personal gratitude.

Your plea comes as a surprise as our enterprise as you pointed is not specialised in geological and chemical analyses except for those related to raising constructions. However, there is still something we can do about it. At the moment, we are engaged in a small political adventure on assuming power on Quillan and take it away from those Minarchy criminals. To do so we need an effective local academy of sciences and universities, and I am certain we can find a few distinguished individuals ready to lend their expertise to demonstrate their capability to assume chief academic positions in the Barony of Languedoc.

With this in mind, while I will be amassing the team of experts to this end, I would kindly ask you to share the details of the operation so that the experts in question know what results they are expected to yield.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Cordialment,
Baron Fabian Montluc

P.S. Currently, our company is developing a new solution in planetside and stellar construction that might interest the Enclave due to the lack of buildings and civil construction capacity. I will share the relevant details once the development and the tests are concluded.

Monsieur,

I am pleased to hear from you. Minarchy is the weakest link in this 'confederation', and I am sure it will fall first. The Grand Duchy of Burgundy will then certainly reconsider their loyalties and all that we will need to do is to finish off Republicans. Your influence in some spheres there may come in handy in the future.

I, like many other officers, do not approve political games during the wartime. I believe that political games and nobility ambitions have lad us to failure in New London and Orléanais. Yet, I do realize that we need political and civil specialists to organize the rear.

I just have to warn you to not play anything like it in the territories controlled by the Royal Navy. No political games here, only honest technical work. You, of course, will have your profit, but as we all know corporations tend to fund political movements. That won't happen here, I fully expect us all to work on restoring our great Kingdom and not for the personal benefit. But as long as it happens at the enemy territory, it will be most welcomed by me.

And now, Academy? On Quillan or here? While you think about this, why don't you consider funding an academy in the Gallic Hébrides? We could use some scientists here. You could be the chef of the project.

As for the other matters. Issoudun is having the limited capacity and I thought that you could work on providing Royalist forces with mobile repair ships. This way you could support our operations way better.

I also would like you to check if it would be possible to improve sensor systems at La Riche. I am talking about it's better efficiency when it comes to scanning the nebulas. Maquis and Brigands are hard to fight with conventional warfare methods that we used to and they always slip away. If your specialists will be willing to check I will order you permitting documents.

Mademoiselle Dior,

With all due respect, your being an officer of the Royal Forces does not give you the grace of advising nobility on how to do politics. I served with the Navy for 30 years and know that a good soldier has to follow the orders and not think much about them. So, as you said, no games - only honest technical work, which for you is to fight and mind your orders, not the politics.

I have no intention of moving into the Hebrides, so you and your leadership should not be worried about my corporation funding any political movements there. Unless the situation in the Confederacy aggravates to the point I have no choice but to leave - I am planning on staying on Quillan. Same applies to our intended Academy of Sciences that is to be convened first of all to benefit the Barony of Languedoc, should it be successfully created.

As to the crux of the matter you contacted us about - we surely can manufacture a few repair ships and deliver them to the Hebrides as we did in the past with GATs. The sensor system of the battleship surely can be a difficult task but we can look into the matter.

Since you are omitting the question of geological surveying in Roussillon, I assume it is not longer on the agenda.

We will commence the construction of the repair ships to be delivered later on.

Cordialment,
Baron Fabian Montluc
