Corsairs: Mistaking Vesuvius for Malta.

Malta's early warning system was pinged the other day, when a cluster of Corsair junkyards had managed to, not only surprise everyone with space travel, but also entered into Omicron Alpha. Some sources claim that Pepe Lardon was among the trespassers, however experts claim that due to his ongoing health condition as the fattest man in the starving savages tribe, it is highly unlikely that he would have made a personal appearance.

Furthermore, upon their arrival. Many personnel responsible for their removal claimed that the Corsairs announced they were here to destroy Malta. However they were then seen raining down their barely operational munitions onto Vesuvius. As many of our viewers know, Vesuvius is home to a small number of shielded settlements. You will be glad to know that the Corsairs managed to target the incorrect hemisphere.

Sección 17 - Albegna's Pioneers

The Soledad Assembly has finally officially welcomed the newly established Section 17 Mining and Extraction group. This comes after many weeks of deliberation in which the current leader of the group, Gregorio Bongiovanni, played an instrumental role in its consolidation of the various mining groups whom were among the first founders of the Coalición Imperial Maltesa.

The group has dedicated itself to the employment of Maltese in their operations, preferring the hard workers of Malta instead of using slaves. Bongiovanni stated that this is simply a security issue, as giving slaves the tools and equipment required to mine would be increasingly dangerous in such an environment. Others have been quick to levy criticism by suggesting an anti-slavery from the Organisation.
Joaquín Ortega, the head of the Slavers Bay has publicly stated that the organisation has no intention of reducing the use of slavery, and instead claimed that the demand and supply of the cheap workforce has only risen in recent months.

Orbital Spa & Cruise: Hispania - Is Maltese tourism to become a thriving industry?

While tourism is currently only limited to the Maltese and their allies, and in very limited qualities. The voyage of the Red Velvet, an Orbital Spa and Cruise ship, has some wondering if such re-occurring instances could bring many more customers to share in the Orange Dream and in the luxury of Maltese culture.

While there is no announcements to allow such to happen, there are reports of many domestic merchants being interested in selling some of the quality Maltese products to the visiting market.

Nomads - What do they want?

A number of reports have been made recently of Nomad vessels taking a non-hostile stance towards some ships with Maltese pilots. The reason for which is still unknown and all of the pilots who have reported such have experienced an unsolicited feeling of warmth they presumed came from the space creatures.

Maltese defence forces have been deployed a number of times to forcefully remove the monsters. Nomads currently pose a threat to Humanity and are a threat to the Maltese way of life. Each time they were successfully reported being repelled, and each time the Nomads are reminded that the Maltese are not a people screw with!
