Jonathan Seabourne here, captain of the Breezewood. I believe we've crossed paths in the Taus fairly recently and I was a temporary guest of your hideout in Leeds.
A curious port of call indeed. I was a member of club of ship spotters with one of your resistance fighters, a kid named Drake Newport. Since I've heard nothing from him in ages I take it he didn't make it out of the war, but I am glad he got to fly a liner by the end of it.

In any event, I saw your open message to everyone with a bone to pick with the Enclave. Even if Breezewood hadn't evacuated 100,000 refugees, I would still have my grievances with the King's forces. Several OS&C liners have come under attack in recent weeks in the Taus from Enclave patrols which gives us more than enough jurisdiction to facilitate actions against them. Pirates I can trust to negotiate. Political idealists are another matter.

If Orbital Spa and Cruise can be of assistance in any way, drop me a line. We have a fledgling security division, but we could perhaps better serve as bait to draw Enclave forces to friendlier territory. A well publicized spectacle of transporting ambassadors from New London to New Paris might simply be too good a target for them to ignore. In any event, if there is anything we can do to help take it to the forces of the Enclave, you have but to ask.

Thanks for the contact, I'm pleased to make your acquaintance captain. I do remember passing your ship recently, and you may not have known at the time, but I spoke with the captain of your ship a few months ago in Tau-31, I assume it was you. I was aboard my pirate transport the Queen.Carina's.Revenge. Well its interesting that aside from the refugees that passed through there, not many are still alive that can say they were aboard Outpost Alpha or Outpost Beta! I miss those stations, but maintaining them in the radiation of the Leeds smog cloud left much to be desired about living out there. After our ground base and network was destroyed in the bombardment, I dismantled them myself!

As to Newport, I received an automated message from him, some kind of 'dead man's switch'. As far as I know his ship never made it off Leeds after his last run to the surface for refugees. But, during those days and weeks people were disappearing and going underground in the wake of the blitz, so I suppose you never know. I disappeared myself for a little while after that. If so he probably thinks I'd want him shot! But that's not the case, it was over by then anyways, so there was nothing more to be done.

And thanks for hauling the refugees. Those were trying times, and many are grateful to be alive because of captains like yourself, and Drake Newport. Now, when it comes to the Enclave, I'm doing all I can to chop at them in little ways. Sadly I can't provide much of an escort, but I'm hoping the presence of people like me will keep them on their toes. That should help thin out their coverage of routes some. They also have supply ships moving across the Taus, and they aren't invincible.

As to assistance, there might be some ways you could help, and at the very least its nice to know its there if needed. In an emergency I might need some last minute supplies. I could use some help moving some arms/munitions/military vehicles stockpiles, both legal and illegal, but it all came from the Enclave. I could grant you and OS&C access to my private base if you're interested, but no pressure. But, thats all I have for sale! *laughs* We can meet in space sometime soon if you want in on that.

Regarding setting up an ambush, until I have more resources, that plan may be better directed at BAF/Bretonian Intelligence, or the Cratyer Republic. I'd certainly do what I can though. For now I don't think your security guys would want to be seen openly with us, but you and the rest of Liberty/Bretonian corporations will get no trouble from me of course. If you know any pilots with no lawful reps to worry about, send 'em my way!

The Taus are as dangerous as ever. With any luck, we'll find ways of dealing with the Enclave.
