Subject: Humanitarian Aid to Munich.

Good evening,
As you may be well aware, Cryer Pharmaceuticals strives to provide humanitarian aid wherever it is required within the Sirius sector, regardless of nationality, affiliation, gender etc. Following the call from the Munich system for such aid we proceeded to dispatch one of our bulk transporters, the Liberty Sun, to Planet Houston to see what we could move for them.
We were warned by Liberty Navy vessels upon entering the Hudson system that there had been reports of Rheinland military vessels firing on civillian vessels within their space - we had assumed a humanitarian transport would be allowed passage simply due to the nature of our mission.
We were quite wrong.
Upon arriving at the New Berlin gate within Hamburg we were confronted by a Military Cruiser and a smaller snub craft, we proceeded to comply with their orders and submit for a cargo scan, while also stating our mission, we were told that humanitarian aid was considered contraband under Rheinland law, we requested several times to see this law but they were particularly unhelpful and the only laws we were able to see were those of the Federal Republic, where the aid we were carrying was not considered contraband. We were told to drop the cargo and turn around, I suggested that we merely take the cargo back to Planet Houston, and even offered to let them escort us back to the border. They flat out refused and proceeded to open fire upon the vessel. The vessel itself was destroyed but myself and some of the crew managed to evacuate but others were not so lucky.
I've attached the audio logs for the encounter that we managed to retrieve, suffice to say we shan't be attempting any more aid until our security can be guaranteed with Rheinland.
