A clandestine information gathering mission was started yesterday at 1900 HOURS. Ships part of this mission are the following:
- [LIA]-Peacemaker
- [LIA]-Vixen
- [LIA]-Wolverine
The mission started from
Chadwick station where we geared up for out long trip with a final refuel from the
Chimera in
Omicron Nu. To our surprise on our way towards our mobile operations base we found a fleet of
Order capital vessels being escorted out of the Nu system. We maintained our distance since we don't like to be associated with the trigger happy naval captains.
Our first stop was
Freeport 11 where
[LIA]-Wolverine met up with one of his contacts. In the meantime
[LIA]-Vixen cloaked and
intercepted a ship that was broadcasting a Freelancer IFF but had a Zoner ID. She caught up to the ship at planet Tavula. We have reason to believe that this ship was present in
Alaska at some time.
Vixen roughed him up a bit but we didn't want to make a scene so far from backup so we moved on with our mission towards Omicron Kappa.
In this system a "
Order Osiris" caught up with us and halted us. Thanks to the spectacular negotiation skills of my partners we managed to convince them that the Liberty Intelligence Agency is not a threat to them and we negotiated
safe passage. Their only request is that we shouldn't equip our ships with any Nomad Technology. Our conversation was abruptly cut off when a
Corsair "Praefect" Cruiser decided to open fire on us forcing us to move to Omicron Theta.
Here we refueled again at
Freeport 9 and
[LIA]-Vixen had received a RTB notice and was ordered back to
Chadwick.
Wolverine and I went on and discovered a huge installation under the name of "
Nichols Trade Center", this is worth some extra observation. We went on towards Omega-55 where we discovered a new junker depot named "
Bornholm", nothing to exciting. Finally we stopped at
Freeport 5 in Omega-41 from where I will be trying to get a hold of my connection in Rheinland space.
Building a rapport with the Order is going well, our objective of
distancing the
Liberty Intelligence Agency from the
Liberty Security Force and L
iberty Navy seems to be working. Maybe in the future we can exploit this relation for more important information. Our mission has not yet ended, more information to come as we go. I would like to recommend sending in a
undercover agent into the Nichols Trade Center, our scanners were unable to pick up anything from inside the base, who knows what dangers to Liberty are hidden there.
Our mission continues, will update when possible.
