Guten tag,

We are contacting you due to certain conflicts in the Sigma-21 system.
Several times in the demilitarized zone, GMG forces attacked us. There has been no news from our ships so far.
We decided to respond to this incident with a strong blow to Mekong Station. We will try to complete this operation with minimal casualties. We hope that you, according to our agreement, will help us not by interference.
They do not recognize our agreements on this system and must answer for their daring actions.

To the esteemed Paul Abel, Krüger Mineralien.

I bid you good day, sir.

Your corporation shall be made aware that the Empire of Kusari seeks to assist your nation to come to a peace agreement with the Gas Miner Guild. It would be wise not to commit anything making the situation worse.

We recommend Krüger Mineralien to remind themselves of the Treaty of Nevers, with special attention to Article 4 and Article 5. If you wish to be persistent about fighting the Gas Miner Guild, we give you the kind advice to do so outside of Sigma-21.

Additionally, we will make you aware that due to the uncertain nature of the Kolleda, all and any Rheinland activity in Sigma-21 will be kept an eye upon.

With cordial regards,
Toshinori Kojirou
Minister of Foreign Affairs

Guten tag,

As we all know, GMG did not sign the Treaty of Nevers and violated several of its points, namely:
Article 3. They attack our transports and thereby closed free access to trade.
Article 4. They refused to demilitarize the zone.
Article 5. They built the station without the supervision of a commission and without the permission of the signatories.

Therefore, according to Article 6, you are obliged to recognize this base as illegal in this system and / or not to interfere with justice, or to help us conduct joint actions against violation of our contract.

To the esteemed Paul Abel, Krüger Mineralien.

I bid you good day, sir.

You are correct, they never signed it, thus they are not bound by its articles. Naturally, they end up violating them.

It is most unfortunate that your vessels get attacked, there was a reason behind our recommendation, as it is clear the Gas Miner Guild will not back down until an agreement is found. One the Empire of Kusari wishes to aid your nation with, I shall remind you.

In regards of Article 4: 4.3. No Signatory shall undertake or permit others to undertake any military action into Sigma-21 for any purpose, save by specific request by the SAC for policing or defensive purposes.

Legally, the SAC never requested assistance for defensive purposes, nor did they specifically announce a case of Article 4.3.1.
Given the fact the SAC never did so, Article 5.2.1 is not in effect, thus forbidding Naval Forces or Rheinland Military intervention.
This may be due to the ill-fated withdrawal of all Rheinland representatives from the SAC a while before the outbreak of internal turmoils on your side and no attempts of new representatives to re-establish contacts, as far as we aware.

We will inform you at this point, that the Treaty of Nevers is currently facing a re-negotiation process, with special attention being paid to the unfortunate status of the SAC following the prior mentioned withdrawal.

As a friendly reminder, Article 6 would also apply to the Kolleda's continued presence in Sigma-21. "Article 4.2. No signatory shall build or station military or state assets of any kind inside Sigma-21." would apply as well.
We are so nice to overlook this in the ongoing discussions with the Empire of Rheinland though.

With cordial regards,
Toshinori Kojirou
Minister of Foreign Affairs
