Good day, esteemed officers of the Liberty Navy.

My name is Addison Reynolds, Secretary to the Crayter Quorum. I trust all is well at home, now that your valiant men and women have returned. I wish my message today wasn't in haste, but a potential situation in Crayter Space has arisen that the Quorum feels may impact the balance of power in the Tau Systems, as well as the integrity of Crayter Space as a whole.

A report filed by a Crayter Flight Officer yesterday revealed a Kusari warship formation within Tau-31. As per Crayter law, and recognized internationally, Tau-31 became Crayter space after its liberation from Royal Gallia and a divisionary deal with the Kingdom of Bretonia. Speaking with the Kusari Admiralty, Fleet Admiral Combes discovered that the move was intentional, and was further accompanied by demands for the surrender of the Barra Crossroads, and the removal of the Crayter Military from our own space, akin to the Royalist invasion a decade prior.

I will provide a link to the channel in question to allow a record for the Navy to confirm Kusari's demands, as well as offers by Ms. Combes to coordinate with Kusari without invasionary tactics. Many in the Republic's upper echelon believe, however, that this is the harbinger of yet another fight for our people, and should the worst be realized, we will be looking once more to our friends in Liberty. While I do not believe that Ms. Combes expects Navy forces to mobilize on our behalf, reassurance from our allies in the Republic will surely go a long way.

Should the situation escalate further, I'm sure the Quorum will task me with forwarding the news to our allies for proper response.
Thank you.

Greetings,

It's rather unfortunate things have to get heated right after one war ends already. Opportunists as all Imperials are, Kusari must believe the region to be easy prey. Nonetheless the 5th Fleet will stand with it's dedicated ally. With luck this can be resolved without the need for weapons. However if necessary we will deploy the warships needed to get the point across. With that I would like to request, in the event of hostilities between the Crayter Republic and Kusari Empire, 5th Fleet and by extension the First and Secondary fleets be allowed to utilize Crayter shipyards as a fueling and arming station.

Regards,

Admiral Miles Prower

Good day, Admiral Prower.

Crayter is thankful to have such a dedicated ally at its side. As you may be able to tell from the linked channel, Kusari has no intentions of backing down, and indeed is forcing Crayter's hand in coordinating such a large coalition to potentially fend off such a foe.

The Quorum has decided to approve your assets utilization of Sabah Shipyard in Coronado for the use of refueling and rearmament. However, Crayter Military command has requested that we urge Liberty to pressure Kusari directly through their southern border system of Shikoku. Crayter intelligence suspects that complacency may leave this window open to your men and women, and divert Kusari's attention away from Tau-31 to protect their own border. While potentially risky, in the best of scenarios Crayter Military command does believe it to be the most sound solution to quickly ending any hostilities.

However, Crayter will not attempt to dictate how the Liberty Navy operates their forces. They have people like you for that duty.
In any event, I will continue to keep the Navy addressed on updates to the current situation. As it stands, Military command believes we may need to pull back for now to reconvene and organize against this foe.
Thank you, Admiral.

Good day,

While we've reevaluated our positioning, it seems the better part of the Kusari Naval Forces main fleet seems to be in favor of rooting out Crayterian forces from Tau-31, even after the Hades made a swift retreat back to the safety of Tau-44. While I'm sure the Borneo Militia is pleased to see the ship and her escort back in Tau-44, it still remains to the Quorum that we were forced by an evidently hostile nation to abandon our space despite diplomatic endeavours.
While on an idling mission to continue monitoring the situation in Tau-31, Carrier Argos was met by Kusari forces and, alongside the accompaniment of Natio Octavarium gunship Victorious March, subsequently accosted despite a peaceful discussion at the onset.

The Government will prepare a statement, but the ruling looks to be war with the Empire of Kusari, despite our approaches and attempts to coordinate with the Kusari Naval Forces.

In addition, it appears that Kusari has made a strong move into Gallia, and formed a hard beachhead into Languedoc. War once more reaches the Gallic homeland, and the Taus are likely to become a strong point once more for anti-Imperial ambitions. I'm sure the Confederacy is already mobilizing war-weary units to meet this invasion, and it seems once more the Republic will be taking a hard stand in the Taus.
