Director of Security Richter here. It is time to discuss the strategic situation of the Sigma-15 system. With the loss of Wuppertal and Dortmund, Wichter is our de facto headquarters, and the presence of Hammersee is problematic for our future. The entire basis for our small republic is the connection between the territories in northeastern Rheinland and the Sigmas, and if there are elements of monarchists on the surface or under it, we will struggle to maintain democratic Rheinland.

It is the intention of ALG to engage in strategic strikes against the few military strongpoints on the planet with chemical warheads; given the tunnel-based infrastructure, we expect to be able to exterminate monarchist military forces with high efficiency as long as we strike all their barracks and other infrastructure efficiently. It is predicted that with careful planning, enemy forces within a single ventilation network can be efficiently killed without outside damage.
We have operated in the system for as long as it has been discovered, but must apply maximum precision to this strike, thus we are asking for coordination for military targets upon the planet's surface. Obviously the deployment of chemical weapons within Rheinland will be controversial, but the security of the Sigma trade route takes precedence over the lives that will be lost.
We have already selected the sites we consider most suitable, and we ask you to contribute your own intelligence to the attack.

I understand the tedious position ALG finds itself in. Choosing between a bad and a terrible option is the choice you are going through, and, by the extent, we are going through as well.
Our intelligence assets in the Sigmas indicate that, apparently, Kolleda and her escorts are preparing to withdraw - the patrol frequency have significantly winded down in the past days and her escorts have been assembling in her direct proximity, therefore it is clear what step it is going to take next, and the only plausible retreat route for it is through Sigma-fifteen spatial anomaly.
Consider this, Richter - you are dead set on committing what essentially is a war crime for a momentarily break that will be nullified by the returning Kolleda battlegroup.

The Gallic war have just ended, the entirety of Sirius have acknowledged the necessarity of banning and disposing of the weapons of mass destruction, and, knowing all this, knowing either option will potentially end the very existence of ALG - you have still opted to take such a risky move.

I urge you to cancel this attack. Folkvangr retrofit is about to be completed and it will be ready for action in the upcoming days; even though it was initially planned to be used elsewhere - i will personally lead it to Sigma-15 and oversee her operations there. Take everything valuable that can be extracted and prepare for massive evacuation, Folkvangr and her squadrons will cover the retreat, and New Augsburg will be your end point. I understand that you may be reluctant to give up on Wichter, but this is our best option before we devise a plan to etsablish permanent ALG headquarters on planet Weimar.
Büro has established contact with Federal forces in Munich, and White Rose Bundschuh cell - i believe they will be keen on assisting with the evacuation as well should you overlook your approach and choose to follow our suggestion instead.

We have had some time to observe the situation around the Kolleda and 15, and my opinion on strategy in the sector has not changed.
Evacuation of Wichter is completely out of the question to us, and I question the logic behind such a suggestion. At this time, the border between 15 and 21 is the only that can even be considered to be under predominantly democratic control. Aside from the fact that Wichter houses nearly the entirety of our remaining heavy equipment and fleet, it's also the one fortified point we can currently defend as a headquarters.

We've seen an increase in scout patrols, likely from the Kolleda group, checking the corridor to Frankfurt. This may confirm the intention of battlegroup to retreat, in which case we should engage it in its vulnerable transit phase - even if we cannot destroy the capital ship itself, we may be able to cause heavy casualties.

As for Hammersee, you may find the approach distasteful, but if there remains a major population center under monarchist control in the center of our territory, we cannot hope to consolidate a stable territory. If you have alternative suggestions on how to capture the planet, we are more than willing to listen.
But, with the loss of Wuppertal and Dortmund, it is now Sigma-15 where we must establish our home base. We will contact the Bundschuh, who are strong in the system, and hope to complete a takeover with their assistance.

But in the worst case, we will not hesitate to take our own approach to the destruction of our enemies.
