I wish to declare the Independent Miners Guild allies of the Free Trade Guild. There are several reasons I belive this alliance would be of benifit to the IMG.

First, we both are enemies of the Outcasts, meaning our escort wing could provide you with assistance against them.

Secound we are both independent guilds who wish the ability to opperate freely without the house systems interefering in our buisness. This kindred purpose of our guilds can bind us together, makeing us an ally you can trust more than any house corporations who would betray you for their nation in a secound.

Our tradeships can bring you the supplies you need, and transport them to foriegn markets where they are in high demand.

Thirdly our trade escorts are not just escorts but really our own army. With this army we can promise the IMG support against any agressor. Whether the IMG come under attack by navies, pirates, or house militaries, we will stand beside you.

In return we ask for:

Un-restricted trade rights on non-contraband items on all IMG bases and in all IMG territory.

Access to the ships and equipment sold in the IMG gaurd systems. These will help impower us to better assist you.

Please thourougly consider our offer and respond at your conviencence

Good day. I will bring your proposal to the attention of the rest of the Guild, but I have some misgiving about it.

Our tradeships can bring you the supplies you need, and transport them to foriegn markets where they are in high demand.

What advantage does this hold over our current situation where we both import our own machinery as well as our dealings with Gateway to ship what we produce?

Whether the IMG come under attack by navies, pirates, or house militaries, we will stand beside you.

How do we know that this "army" of yours will not cause headaches for us? If you're willing to stand against house militaries, what assurances do we have that you will not do so in a way that will negatively affect our current diplomatic solutions?

In any case, we do appreciate any movement against the Outcasts, for they cause us many problems. While I speak with the leadership of the IMG, feel free to trade with and stay at Freeport 4, the Hood, or Freistadt, but make sure to follow the local conventions. If this does not cause any problems, I am sure it will help convince our fine guild of your intentions.

While we wish to use IMG equipment we have no wish to use IMG ID as we are not a part of your guild, and also we try to keep our realations with all house systems stable so that we can continue to dock and trade our goods in all house systems. While we have had accusations leveled against us of being unruly blockade runners who will fight back if they are caught, I am offended and deny all such accusations. Some of the goods we buy in Bering may look like they were purchased in Rheinland but I assue you they weren't.

We simply know house systems have a tendency to be currupt and if they came against you, would be willing to assist.

//Yes we do run blockades and fight back if we are caught but a FTG would NEVER admit that publicly in-character.
