I am glad you considered that. Your particular skill set is something that would benefit our pilot cadres, even if you left a path of violence behind you. Straightaway you can allocate yourself to live with your husband at his quarters on Akabat. We can work on a codename and false identity before you start work, just for an extra layer of security. Not many had seen your face, and certainly very few people would recognize you scarless after this decade. The Order is well insulated and protected from would-be infiltrators, but sometimes you may have to work with outsiders.
The job I have to offer is as follows. You would operate chiefly in Omicron Mu and Omicron Epsilon systems. Both are considered safe, as far Omicrons can be. Fort Carthage, Epsilon is heavily fortified and holds our primary advanced flights facility. Path between your new home and Carthage is well marked and frequented by heavy patrols and convoys on a daily basis so you are not exactly looking forward to seeing much of the frontlines. Naturally, we will be expecting you to protect yourself and your subordinates. Raids on Akabat or Epsilon are probably as frequent as incursions against Wiesbaden, but space is dangerous.
