Summary

A zealous sect within the Coalition, the Red Nineteenth are a mostly secretive group with ties to the Commissariat. While the majority of people are unaware of Red Nineteenth, in recent years they have come to occupy more positions of importance and with it more light has been shone on their activities. Those who have become aware of the group have recognised that they are unlike what is normally expected. Members of the Red Nineteenth are more aggressive in their aims, resolute in their beliefs and dedicated in achieving their objectives.

Origins

The informally known Red Nineteenth find their origins in Project: Novyy Grazhdanin. This project was established some years ago with the aim of addressing the manpower shortages within the ranks of the Coalition with new citizens from the colonies. Instead of taking the soft approach into convincing the people of the colonies to defect to the Coalition, the project instead established the Oprichnina. The Oprichina were compromised of men aside the project lead, Admiral Ivan Cherdenko, who went beyond merely protecting the Red Nineteenth to performing widespread assaults on convoys to 'liberate' the young and impressionable of the vessels to feed the project.

The name of the Red Nineteenth is in reference to the date of the first liberated new citizens of the project, and has become a point of the sect's history often celebrated.

Goals

Red Nineteenth seek to reinvigorate the populace of the Coalition towards the pursuit of the ultimate goal of collapsing the Sirian Houses, and the establishment of the fabled Red Nation. While the project originally sought to make perfect citizens of those it liberated, the influence of Admiral Cherdenko. his staff, and of the pressures the Coalition have faced around them has caused the sect to veer from its original objectives.

Operational Groups

The following groups are either as a whole or in part to a significant degree, compromised of New Citizens or personnel deeply involved in the project.
