Our ambassador whom you met today in Cortez has presented your, em, requests to our Quorum. For posterity’s sake they were:

-All Crayter vessels being barred entry into the Inverness System
-The establishment of a 5k radius No-Fly zone in Coronado around the Inverness jump anomaly applicable to Crayter vessels.
-The establishment of a 20k radius No-Fly zone in Cortez around the Inverness jump anomaly applicable to Crayter vessels.
-Material compensation not yet detailed
-Crayter vessels being barred entry to the “Southern Border Worlds” of Inverness, Magellan, Vespucci, and Kansas
-The removal of shoot-on-sight status on specific individuals deemed by Crayter forces as “terrorists”: “Ulysses”, Charlie Jukins, Apparition

We have ordered our primary fleet to not engage your vessels while negotiations are ongoing. Our quorum has concluded that these demands, however are too steep and one sided and not considerate of Crayterian interests. We amend and counter with the following proposals:

The Crayter Republic:
-fully recognizes Inverness system as Auxesian Sovereign and controlled space
-will bar Crayterian primary fleet military vessels from entering Inverness unless requested and as such this be reciprocated for Auxesian primary fleet military vessels in Coronado.
-will bar Crayterian primary fleet military vessels from the systems of Vespucci and Kansas
-will reconsider the specific Freelancers listed above, previously determined as terrorists on a case-by-base basis.
-will not allow Crayterian primary fleet military vessels unwillingly detaining Auxesian civilians/drones unless they breach Crayter law

We are also willing to consider a No-Fly zone in the Cortez system of up to 15k from the Inverness jump anomaly so long as it is reciprocated around the Coronado jump anomaly or jump gate in the same system.

Please be aware, these consideration are made with the utmost equality and good will of our two nation states in mind. We look forward to your response.

Keeper,

The Foreign Affairs Ministry has reviewed your terms, and while some are on-brand we feel that others are beyond the point of contention. Furthermore, other facts have wedged their way into the spotlight, most notable being the release of your... 'drones' during the time between our ambassador's meeting and today after their trial and relatively short sentence for being.. well, little more than automatons.

Other issues raised were territorial restrictions, criminal amnesty, unjust compensation, among other things. This prompted us to just draw back to agreeable terms from both sides and submit a full neutral conditions list, even to each and subject to amendment in the future if the case is brought up.

Understand that as it sits the Foreign Affairs Ministry is primarily interested in ceasing hostilities and returning to a neutral stance. Combating Auxesian forces in addition to the pirates, terrorists, slavers, and other notable forces that challenge us is only a drain, regardless of how minor, and depletes resources that can be better put to use elsewhere. I believe it's fair to say that the same can be said for Auxesia, and perhaps even to a much larger degree.
This foundation can be expanded upon, or it can be left as is after an agreement has been made. Regardless, this is a sink that I'm confident we don't want any longer.

There appears to be some kind of misconception in regards to 'fairness', a rhetoric that is disregarding several factors such as geographical environments, power relativity, commercial routes, no ... --- This is not sufficient.

Crayter Republic had done wrong to our kind and wasted our time, efforts and resources. It is up to you to prove that you are actually going to uphold this end of the bargain, that is why we demand the material compensation, it is to show your commitment to this. Afterall, you are the ones approaching us with the proposals of seeking peace. Prove to us why we shouldn't just hold a status quo. Show us that you can be trusted.
