My name is Shimamori Masahito, I am a minor noble from planet Honshu. I am seeking your attention today to request permission for my flagship to operate within the sovereign space of the Gas Miners Guild as defined in the Laws and Regulations of the Guild. The vessel that I am seeking the permission for is "Zuiryu", a modified "Takeda"-class cruiser serving as the flagship of my clan. A more detailed profile of the ship is attached herein for your consideration.

The intent behind this request is exploration. "Zuiryu" right now hosts a team of 13 scientists, mostly astrophysicists, but also a few xenogeologists and xenobiologists. The purpose of the exploration is the search for potentially habitable worlds in the vicinity to Honshu system. For the purpose of stellar mapping and more precise estimation of systems of interest, stellar observation from different "angles" is desired. As of now, my crew has carried out extensive observations from Kusari core systems and is now seeking to obtain the data from Sigmas and Omicrons. To this end, I am humbly seeking your formal permission to operate in Guild's sovereign space in the spirit of cooperation of Kusarian culture that we share.

I must regrettably confirm that vessels of cruiser class are not permitted within the Sigma Systems. Furthermore, the specific knowledge of the nebulae and planets of the Sigmas is considered Guild property and the analysing, charting, scouting and otherwise probing of its space is considered an infringement of The Guild's rightful sovereignty.

As such, I must advise that you do not attend the Sigma Systems as you have outlined above. However, you will otherwise find Guild space welcoming to all who wish to conduct legitimate business.

Should you wish to traverse the Sigma Systems in order to reach the Omicron systems, The Guild is most willing to accommodate your transit through its space with an appropriate escort. If you might advise when you intend to make such a journey, arrangements can be made to facilitate it.
