Bonjour, Chantal Proulx here. I have some disturbing news for my friends. Our patrols have picked up increased Navy activity within Languedoc. Some of you already know that we have been working on a project recently, a modular base called Martinique. Unfortunately I think it may be in danger. If the reports are true and the navy is coming for our heads, it's in our interests to relocate. I'm calling to any of our friends that is willing to help with this task. The base was made with relocation in mind, so we simply have to detach the larger parts and tow it. I'm unsure how the safety of Narbonne was compromised, but that's a worry for later. We only need to relocate within Languedoc, and we have the lifters necessary. What we need from you are escorts and cargo transports to help with the parts needed to reassemble it. This new location will be more secure than where it is now, so I will not need to ask this kind of favor again.

If you choose to help, your efforts will be rewarded.

Subject:Your Base

Bonjour,

I mean sure - we are now gathering forces for The Orkney massacre offensive, but we'd be more than willing to help out.

You said it yourself when we talked about your Orkney base - defending with Jaguars isn't exactly efficient. And you might lose yet another base? That'd be highly unfortunate les mon ami. If it has been compromised - there's nothing you can do I assume. Alone.

What do I propose? You will get from us
1) A massive distraction in the form of thousands of Royalists and their families dying, gasping for air in vein in Orkney that will draw all breathing Navy forces out of Languedoc as our auxilliary forces help you move the base. There is no way they will be able to ignore it.

2) Help with logistics as we help you tow the base. Sure - a lot of our civ. towing ships are rigged with explosives for our plots against The Royals and their collaborators, but if we are careful and don't set them off they will be a powerful force that will help you move.

3) Full protection of our forces thereafter when it's moved. Rest assured, should the Union fuckers ever come close to the new spot, we will throw explosives and assaults either at them directly, or at their installations and convoys, or families if it comes to it if they ever come sniffing close as a smokescreen. And use our military if need be if the base will need to be moved again

4) Full support in supplying, improving the masking signatures of the base including investing in re-modelling it. Providing contacts and financing for 3rd parties should they be necessary to supply the base with the contacts we have been building up.

What do we want in return
1) Let us in. Make us co-owners of the base - your partners.
2) Help us search for 3rd parties that could help us salvage former Council technology, haul it to the base and re- pressurise and re-purpose it for military use. Pamiers needs friends, we need help building them.

What say you?

Pierce,

We haven't spoken to the Rogues in a long time, glad to see you're still willing to hear us out. Narbonne is the best place to bring goods at the moment. Even if you don't hang around for the move, our pilots can ferry them to the new location. I'll send a few Mistral pilots towards Liberty who can show you the way, there are multiple ways into Gallia now that the minefields are gone. The help is appreciated.

Boucher,

Asking to be co-owners is a pretty heavy request since we've dumped so many resources into this base. But if you prove to be as dedicated as we are, we'll let you in on the leader's table. Right now we're working with the Junkers in Sirius for bringing in salvaged military ships. We're taking notes on anything that's brought in and we can share them with you. We can still spare ships for the Orkney offensive, though they will be in Mistrals and Cuirassiers instead of bombers. Welcome to the team.

Ahoy!

We're found some dusty Trains and managed to deliver 2 loads on Martinique. We'll hang out at the Narbonne and soon will depart. And one more thing. Dat's a bit hard for us to make constant runs and help ya, but We make it from time to time.

Also make sure to prepare some Gallic Alcohol for us, when we'll come.

Pierce is out.

Subject:Our base

You want to test me red? See my resolve? Prove MYSELF to YOU? You don't like living do you? :::Boucher takes a deep, seriously threatening look into the neural net feed. He holds that tense face for several seconds before bursting into laughter:::

I'm just baise avec toi Proulx, sure we'll help - you'll have clear skies moving the base as we light up Orkney with fireworks never seen before, our more moderate guys that don't like blowing up (even Royalist) refugees will help you tow it, and sure, let's see what happens. The more equal partners you make us, the more resourcess we will pour in afterwards, simple as - up to you, we're fine with whatever.

Also there are Sirian Junkers? What are those? You think they could help us recover and even repair The Council tech that's just flaoting around for the taking? There's enough for an entire fleet of ships if we use it all - give me a contact on these people if you can, I'd like to check them out.

We tried to get the damn stuff ourselves, but at Saulx it cost us 7 ships, and a lot of the other promising salvageable stuff we just can't seem to make work on our own unless it's a simple fix, or have means to recover it from the more complicated and damaged wreckages.

Pierce,
Your help was invaluable, we put the robots to work and they made things go much more smoothly. You're welcome here any time you want. Nox, salvage, hypo bands, booze, whatever you want you'll find. Any time you're in the area give me a call and I'll personally see to it that everything is ready for you.

Boucher,
A sense of humor? What a relief. Everything is ready to go on our end. We "found" a few ships to do most of the heavy lifting, but more freighters will take us out of flown space faster. The new area is clear, the base is detached, all we need now are ships. Whenever you're ready we move.

And the Junkers? They might stick around after we move. They were here before, but with current events I asked for them to take off for a bit. I hear they can salvage almost anything, if you ask nicely I'm sure they can supply what you need. Especially with all those Valors and Redemptions sitting around. Monsieur Tiltman is the one you want.

Let's get this done.

Boucher,

Now that the royals are reeling from your surprise in Orkney, we need to move on to the next project. We have the heavies needed to move Martinique and it's currently in pieces ready to go. It may be a trial getting the base back into one piece, but as long as our ships make it to the new spot we should be able to handle it eventually. Most importantly we will need escorts to make sure the pieces get to where they need safely. I think we would have a window with the chaos in Orkney, but having all hands on deck will make us feel more secure. Fighters, to move mostly undetected. If anything catches us, we just need to distract them long enough for the lifters to sneak through.
