Hello to the Phoenix group. I will start with a brief introduction. My name is “JJ” Mathers, I head up a unit of Zoners dedicated to conducting offensive acts against the Nomads and conducting research on their technology to better understand how they operate. I command a Aquilon Carrier known as the Stormhawk. Since last year my crew has made many inroads against the Nomads and their minions by actively operating against them. In that time we have learned much about them, both by combining past knowledge of what we already know and new data procured from our activities and also managed to capture some Nomad technology for analysis

We do have our own team of researchers aboard our ship to analyze most of what we are able to recover, but for the most part, a lot of our alien devices and items were offloaded to Corinth for a more in depth look. Lately, alot of useful data has been sent to us of our team's findings at Corinth, so this has been extremely helpful to us. There is the possibility that we may need to move some of our research onboard the Stormhawk though due to the sensitive nature of what we work with.

Enough with the introductions and down to the point. I am looking to see if the Phoenix may be interested in something of a exchange program. We would be able to send some of our security specialists trained specifically to handle Nomad threats and artifacts, in exchange we would request from you perhaps a handful of scientists that would be inclined to help with our research. My unit posses cutting edge technology to advance our efforts and many avenues for our staff. We push each other and ensure excellence at all times. I know that Phoenix has had considerable contact with Nomad forces as we have had the chance to assist some of your vessels in passing, and I would guess that you may have those among yourselves that could be interested. We also can offer some possibly unique items not easily acquired from our end as well.

We also would request possibly some other useful materials from the Omicrons if you would be willing to send some down our way. We will be able to deploy a transport ship in your direction as well if such things can be agreed upon. Payment will of course be generous to fellow Zoners.

Please let me know if this is acceptable to you and any other terms you may have.

Greetings,

I recall your name captain. I think a few times our forces fought together against bigger creatures in the Omicrons and I show you a respect for that, its a shame that people of Omicrons are busy with striggles between them instead of fighting a common enemy of humanity.

Oh, it seems that I’ve forgotten to introduce myself. My name is Christian Burton, leader of the Phoenix Zoners.

Indeed, we have been working with alien materials for quite a long time, as our foot has been standing in the Omicrons since times of the Zoner Trading Consortium. Its a quite simple tactic that you should know your enemy to effectively stand against him, so far we’ve succeeded, altogether with our allies I hope we will get far on this. As of a recent successful project - we’ve built effective scanners to track infectees onboard incoming ships to Kadesh Orbital Colony, to ensure safety of the residents and it does the job well.

As for your proposal, I think something can be arranged. Currently our researchers mostly reside on the Corinth Research Annex of the Livadia Shipyard, so you could pay a visit to them anytime. I'll inform my people about you. You made the right choice, Corinth is a safest spot for any work with alien materials, if your men face any problems with your research you can contact them directly by inner station communications or our Research department if anything specific will be required.

Furthermore, I have a counter offer. If you captain would consider joining our community you will have a separate deck onboard the Corinth Annex for any type of research and open access to our technologies databank. Especially it could be useful with the proximity of the construction decks on the shipyard.

Hello there Mr. Burton. Thank you for taking the time to reply to me. I am glad to hear that you share our interests in this regard. We all must stand together to hold back those that would want to destroy us.

The majority of our science division has resided on the Stormhawk, but it's facilities for long-term research are limited so a portion of our team still exists on Corinth for the time being. You mentioned that you have some ways to detect infected and suspicious vessels, would it be possible for you to share any of such information? The offer of some reserve security personnel is still on the table if you are interested as well.
Please let me know.

Unfortunately the latest version of an array scanners isn’t available for public access, although it cannot yet be mounted on any type of the ship. It requires an immense amount of power and its sizes can be compared to a whole deck.

Nevertheless, we have a modular system, which could be suitable for most ships of capital and transport type vessels. If you are interested, our technicians on the Livadia will mount it per your visit. Though I need to mention, it doesn’t work ideally, the usage had been shown false-positives.

Mr. Burton.

This offer does greatly interest me and my team. Any assistance you can render in this regard is very much appreciated. Of course no system is perfect, so its possible some improvements can be made on our end. Our data so far should help a lot in adapting it to our systems.

Do you need anything from us to send your way or are all parts and materials already available there? I have access to many resources so let me know. Thank you very much.

Bringing materials is not necessary, the device is already built and ready to go. Our specialists will mount all necessary equipment and set up for the maximum productivity per your arrival. Though you will have to transfer 120 millions of Sirian Credits to (\^/)Lyra for the work overall. You will have all information regarding its set up, it's a quite sensitive equipment so I would recommend to service every time per visit at Livadia.

Hello again Mr. Burton. These terms seem very fair to me, the money has been sent as requested. I am quite eager to get this installation underway so please inform me when I can bring the Stormhawk into the drydocks at Livadia. My operations officer has confirmed that onboard system are going into prep for this system and everything should be in place by the time we arrive. I will have some of my people have a in depth look at it once it is installed.

The payment was received, so you can move to the Livadia Shipyard anytime for device mounthing. At this moment we have scheduled Hyperion to jump into Omicron Kappa for minor servicing, estimated time is 20:00 Sirian Standard Time, so we could test your equipment together. Furthermore… We have an object to test its precision.

A very good day to you! First off, I want to convey a very big thank you to both you and your team at Livadia. This new sensor system we have is just what we were looking for to add to our wide array of systems and abilities. On taking it back to our installation for a in depth analysis, it appears to be fairly versatile. Brief tests already conducted yielded promising results so we have high hopes for the near future. From what I was told, everything at the shipyard went very well and no issues were found. My science team noted several processes that it uses that we have not considered yet so they will continue to adapt it for a more streamlined use in the main sensor grid. Your companion ship, the Aether was also a welcome sight to the operation, give their captain my regards. I look forward to meeting again soon, thank you for everything and take care out there!

Greetings over there to the Phoenix.

It has been some time since we have talked formally. With your assistance of giving us the hybrid sensor system, we have made much use of it to track down and assault both Nomad ships and their slaves. During such time we have also made a number of customized calibrations to it and adapted it for our specialized usage.

Lately though we have run into some minor issues with it being calibrated correctly and sometime not fully functioning to our standards. I would like to know if you have time to send some technicians to Livadia or some other area where your people may have a overview of it to suggest possible further diagnosis of our array. Although we are able to handle most problems with our own technology, another look at it would help.

I understand Phoenix has been doing quite well for themselves lately and that is glad to hear. If there is any help we could be to you, please let us know. Please respond at your convenience and thank you again.
