-Capital Class ship of unknown class seen in coordination with ELF combatants.

Alpha patrol report follows, JG Helion/JG Adama:

Our patrol took us to Edinburgh initially where there were reports of ELF activity. A small patrol of Gaians were found but nothing more substantial. We moved to Cambridge and came upon a Dreadnaught class vessel with BHG markings. The ship was devoid of any radiation or comms but seemed to be firing randomly at passing vessels. As this remained outside the scope of our patrol we continued to Dublin.

A vessel of unknown origin was seen in the Dublin system apparently cooperating with a known ELF Vessel called Eris_Ascendant. We were illequiped to manage photos of the ship but it looked distinctly alien. Organic lines and a semi-transparent skin. Our searches for the ELF vessel were frustrated by inadequate intelligence on the system. The ELF vessel escaped to an unknown system and we were unable to pursue. Recommend extended reconaissance of the Dublin system to discover all escape routes.

We both sustained some damage in mine fields peppering some of the asteroid fields.

Madam President,

Procedure for siezing contraband states only one warning. A 2nd warning gives suspects too much time to flee.

Do we have plans to mobilize the civilian fleet and provide pharmaceuticals and food rations to the disaster on Cambridge?

My engineers tell me we are unable to equip Colonial_One with weaponry but it would be possible to upgrade her armor.

I have upgraded the threat status on the Phantom empire to unfriendly in light of the recent attacks. Military vessels will be working in coordination with SF vessels in the event of an attack by the phantom empire or the ELF now in Bretonia. I recommend civilian transports avoid confrontation with ELF and Phantom vessels as we are stretched too thin to provide escort to most of them.

Admiral, I have somthing that requires your atention. My ship captain woke me last night with some disturbing scans of the Cambridge system.

It seems there was a large gathering of 5 to 6 Warships within cambridge. they were Phantom and the ELF warships.

Admiral I advise exream causion..

I am aware of the situation. Please have all civilian vessels adhere to published operating procedure. If there is fighting in Cambridge civilian vessels should stay out. Any combat assets should coordinate with Sintech or SF vessels in any engagements in my absence (updating procedure now.)

I seems a benefactor, a rheinland politician to my surprise, has insisted that I stay on his prison liner until the Colonial One is armed. That's good someone is concerned for our safety.
It may take some time to figure out the proper adapter welds for the Colonial One. I hope it gets done soon, this ship is a bit smelly.. :$

:dry: Last night I received hail from a small CSV trade Vessel. Her name is "Maria Atalante", she requested I give her escort to Cambridge. She had seen the news of the crisis on Cambridge and was worried about an old friend who works as a professor on that planet.

I met up with her at LA and we proceeded to Bretonia...
we were pulled out of the trade lane by Gians just after Shettfield station. There were three of them so I engaged, my Viper cut through them like butter. But every time I took out one a new wing would appear on the seen, there must have been 23 of `um. :blink:

As I fought and preyed for Maria's safety I saw in my peripheral. She was maneuvering her CSV with skill, and shooting sharp. She dispatched at least four of those Gians. :huh:

We cut them down to the last two and as I engaged one, the other swooped on my six. His bolts were whizzing by my cockpit until Maria took him down from a high angle...

Apollo: " Ok, its all clear. Proceeding to Cambridge".
Apollo: "Man that was some good scrap'in for a civilian".
Maria: "Thanks, my dad showed me a few things"
Apollo: "Have you ever considered becoming a fighter pilot?"
Maria: "Oh no, I wouldn't be right for that, its not me".
Apollo: "Well if you ever change your mind, contact me".

We arrived at Cambridge and landed at, IAGS , the Institute for Advanced Geological Studies. One small part of the building was smoking black, I could not see it well in the distance but most of the structure looked untouched. We approached an aid officer with a rheinland uniform. I asked him what happened to the place and he started rambling on incoherently till I noticed, he was speaking german. I turned to Maria and said, sorry, they don't speak english. She looked at me vacantly with a little chuckle then began speaking fluent german to the man!

Apollo: "Well I'm impressed".
Maria: "Shhhhhhh"......

She talked for like 45 minutes then she just turned and started walking back to her ship. She looked like she was going to kill someone! I ran after her and 20 feet from her ship she dropped to her knees and sobbed.

Apollo: "Whats wrong, what happened".
Maria: "He's dead".....
Apollo: "Who".
Maria: "One blast from the infected battleship".
Maria: "It hit the coolant generator down there". (sniffle)
Maria: "The pipe fractured and filled four rooms on the east wing"
Maria: "Including his office".. (sniffle sob)....
Apollo: "I am so sorry, is there any way I can help you".

(She looks up with a pause and anger grows in her eyes)

Maria: "Is that Viper option still on the table"......... .. .
