Subject:Hudson

Guten Abend,

In recent weeks the Hudson system's northern trade highway has been overrun by unlawful elements. Are these elements from Rheinland? No. They are the Xenos and the Rogues. From your house, that should be your responsibility. The reports keep mounting.

Now, the Rheinwehr is taking action. We have been increasing patrols, and have been forced to increase payments to the Bounty Hunters Guild for the northern side of Hudson, where multiple trade vessels from Rheinland were threatened and even shot down.

Today I have received some indication why Liberty's criminal groups are gaining the upper hand.

Wrong priorities
We have no indication of the Auxesians threatening trade in the area, but many about the Xenos - yet the vessels from the Liberty Navy that finally showed up initially ignored the trade damaging Xenos and went on some bizzare crusade against the onlooking Auxesians. Thankfully they came to their senses eventually and we disposed of the threats, hand in hand.

Gaps in knowledge
It appears also that one of your officers, 5th|Charlotte.Wilkes was not briefed on the existence of the Rheinland-Liberty Peace Treaty 823 AS, namely:

Quote: Borderline is set on the border of sectors A4-H4 and A5-H5 with shared zone of 10 kilometers of distance from the borderline inside both exclusive zones.
Quote:Patrols are allowed to patrol only in their respective zone and also in shared zone
[...]
Exceptions for entering opposite exclusive zone are case of system-wide emergency call for help or chase of hostile or illegal entity[...]

As, after not even remembering her own rank, didn't seem to be aware of the shared zone and allowances made for chasing hostile illegal entities.

In conclusion:
Now, these are minor squabbles caused by what I assume were all uninfomed low-ranking officers of your respective fleets that arrived at the scene. God knows that we have had some issues with ours in the past as well, let's put that aside for now, in this time of crisis.

Secondary fleet and low ranking officer erratic behavior aside, we must work together to grasp control of the system once more, for the benefit of both houses. Since the issues are exclusively with your unlawful groups, most notably the Xenos, I expect you to increase your patrols and invoke the Bounty Hunters from Manitoba with your own increased payments.

I am informing you right now that should this keep being an issue and traders with families from Rheinland will keep being shot down our vessels will have no choice but to escort them to the Texas gate should none of your patrols be present at the scene at the time. We will also keep pursuing fleeing criminal elements to eradicate them from the system once and far all.

But please - by all means, if this still will not be enough all you have to do is ask. If your forces are engaged elsewhere and/or your native unlawful factions are too much to handle

The Rheinwehr is prepared to make the sacrifice of dispatching heavy assets and taking control of the entirety of the trade highway of the system, purely for securing our mutual trade interests of course!
I am sure our government would not object - we are here to help, just say the word and we can get the process started!

Für den Kaiser! Für das Volk! Für Rheinland!

Hochachtungsvoll,
Alexander Arnold
Admiral der Kaiserlichen Rheinwehr
