Controversial Info on Incident at Harris Conference Emerges
NEW LONDON - Representatives from Bretonia, Kusari and Crayter convened on Planet Harris in May this year and signed a defensive pact, as the BBC reported that month. The pact is supposed to hasten the acquirement of Gallic reparations, but as far as the public is aware, no attempts have yet been made to contact Gallia. This new information may explain why.

Nevile Asquith was a representative of the ruling Whig Party at the conference, but after the event he left the Whigs and became a member of the Liberal Party. Mister Asquith sued Lady Sarah Mountbatten last week for assault, after unsuccessful attempts of settlement, and the BBC was given insight into the charges.

Mr Asquith claims that he was physically assaulted by Lady Mountbatten at the Harris Conference. In his letter of accusation, it is written that Lady Mountbatten ordered a celebration after the treaty had been signed, which included copious amounts of alcoholic beverages. Reportedly, Lady Mountbatten drank a few more glasses than she could take, and began talking about her memories of BAF service during the Kusari War, in front of the Kusari representatives. Mister Asquith, as he admitted, attempted to rein Lady Mountbatten in "a bit undiplomatically" when he told her to "behave herself and stop being an embarrassment" and looked her directly in the eyes. Lady Mountbatten sat motionless for a moment, but then screamed at him to stop looking at her and called him a pervert, and then attempted to hit him in the face, but missed due to her inebriated state and fell on the floor. Then she managed to topple his chair, dragged him down and attempted to wrestle with him, but nearby participants were able to separate them. It appears that these events, if they really happened, have been kept away from public eyes until now.

It is likely that this incident has caused internal troubles for the cabinet and this is why pressing issues have been postponed. The prime minister has refused to give us a comment, but the accused Lady Mountbatten agreed to tell us a few words. "I don't remember anything", she told us, "Except that all the drinks were Gallic". It has been confirmed that not all, but still most of the beverages that were served, had been taken from a stock of looted goods from the Gallic War.

A swanky party devolving (evolving? revolving?) into fisticuffs sounds like the handiwork of the goddess. I'll send along some apples, gold spray paint, and hot dogs so next time you can do it properly!
