Your calls for the independence of Lorraine are a testament to your treachery, stupidity, and detachment from reality.
Your first and the biggest mistake is assuming the people of Lorraine actually need this independence. We have been a proud crown world for centuries and no upheavals of recent time, be it a Kusarian invasion, damaged infrastructure, or idiots promoting separatism will not shake our dedication and loyalty to the House of Gallia. But it appears, you are incompetent enough to ignore the public surveys before carelessly throwing around your groundless political manifesto. Nobody on Metz wants independence. Not only because we are loyal, but also because of your second mistake, which is...
Absolute misunderstanding of the economic and political situation of Metz and Lorraine. Not only we do not need independence, but we also cannot even theoretically afford independence. We are a donation world. Who do you think funded our expensive infrastructure project to warm up the planet? The central government. Where from do we take industrial goods that our agricultural world with extensive pristine hunting grounds cannot theoretically produce? From the rest of Gallia. Who do we rely on against the neighbouring warmongering Kusarians or ever-encroaching outcasts? The mighty armada of the unified Gallia. Separate us from Gallia, and it will recuperate. We, however, will not. The only way for survival would be to bend the knee to Kusari in hope of integration into their economic system or attempt a gamble by playing the differences between the two houses and try to sit on both chairs (which after the war will not work anyway). So basically, you are proposing to the people of Metz to betray our fellow countrymen and throw ourselves at the mercy of foreign masters? You, monsieur, have played yourself.
Your third mistake is to assume we are oppressed and suffer under the union. For generations, we were part of the Kingdom and lived with war at our doorsteps with the Council. Metz has many distinguished war heroes and military dynasties. And now that we finally have internal peace, stability, and security you suggest that service in the military in exchange for the right of the vote (which most of us have never had anyway) is a price too great to pay? If it is not our army that will protect ourselves from Sirian backstabbers that recently attacked our beloved system, then who else will? We are proud to serve in the military of the Union, the embodiment of Gallia united at last. Your pathetic calls will resonate neither with our hearts nor with our minds for they are cowardly and stupid.
Lastly, whoever you are, if you care so much about the wellbeing of our home system, where were you when the Kusarians invaded us? If I remember correctly, it was the fleets of the Republic and the Duchy, as well as the Enclave that made the Kusarians leave. And so we trust the people who defended our system with their lives and risked everything, not some ignorant propagandist with zero clues about the will of the people of Lorraine.
My advice to you - get lost from Gallia and go lick boots to your foreign masters. You will not find understanding or forgiveness in Lorraine. And take your Sirian scarps - we do not need them for the Union supplies us sufficiently in addition to our local produce. Oh, and don't forget to educate yourself at least in basic economics and politics so that your propaganda does not look like the first tries of junior high students in drama classes.
May you burn in hell, traitors.
