Attention

This is Commanding Officer Admiral Nicklas Forsberg of the Battleship Thebes speaking. Our scouts have detected a growing nomad hive in Omicron Minor. While the overall Nomad activity is low in the system, the hive itself is protected by the large and powerful nomad lifeform codenamed LEVIATHAN.

High Command wants to dispatch our newly launched battleship Horus to deal with the situation. All recon assets are required to arrive in Omicron Minor and monitor the situation until battleship Horus arrives, then you will proceed to provide close support for the battleship and make sure that Nomad infestation is neutralized.

Safety of the battleship Horus while it will test its new weapons is your top priority, agents, all other assets are considered expendable.

Battleship Thebes will be deployed to serve as a rear guard and provide heavy support should the need arise. All other heavy assets are required to remain on standby in Omicron Mu to secure the system in our temporary absence.

I very much share Doctor's sentiment - a frontal assault with little to no reconnaissance is a suicide mission and a one way trip; Kii is on standby to support this operation and will be, however, if the current situation of absolute blindness persists - I will have to opt to divert attention and resources elsewhere. Not to undermine the importance and strong tendencies amongst the crew to once again fight over Toledo - but there are limits to senseless courage of women and men.

O.C.V. Khonsu has recently arrived from the northern Taus, and once a quick inspection is finished at Sicca I will have the crew prepare to move to O-Minor. I'll inform Colonel Villeneuve that the ship is to remain in ghost mode until the Horus arrives.

I concur with Doctor Callahan's inquiry. Khonsu can provide some advance recon for the operation, but established information on the object and accompanying warform(s) could be vital.

Mission Update

The situation is very well handled at this moment. The Horus has enough firepower for this task and in case it will not be sufficient, the Thebes will be ready to assist and handle the situation if necessary. Your concerns are understandable, but our escape routes are open and secured and friendly territory in the next system.

The LEVIATHAN is a large capital warform located in Omicron Minor, a class A threat. It has been lurking in the Omicrons for a quite some time, ambushing unwary ships and leaving no survivors and then disappearing again. Our current intel suggests that it now protects the gestating hive, but we do not know if it will remain there once the hive is fully matured and populated. No other large warforms have been detected near our target.

Horus' primary task will be to locate this veiled threat, lure it out and eliminate it for good. The Horus will be escorted by fighters and bombers only to not compromise the first stage operation, all other heavier ships, the Thebes included, will provide assistance only when necessary.

Once the mission is done, the Horus will be escorted back to Fort Carthage.

We were initially stunned by your sudden move due to the shortage of intel. The period ahead of us might cause discomfort among our agents, to which we must respond adequately. Our units are strictly committed to our first line of defense which symbolizes Thebes, and we hope the operation will progress as envisioned. We have little room for error, especially nowadays when we manage to subdue the presence of those who hinder us in preserving humanity. As for the direct involvement of OCV Horus, a complex of the most modern battleship systems, I don't doubt the characteristics of such a ship.

As a result of the ongoing activities, OCV Neferhotep is positioned in the vicinity of the Taba Starbase's garrison, as it's perfectly capable of prompting a counter-reaction in the event of any unpredictable circumstances. The vessel was ordered on a mission to overlook the operation and dispatch additional offensive squadrons if deemed necessary. We will ensure immediate involvement of our logistics, while Damascus Research Station shall ensure a sweeping readiness of several hundred engineers capable of mending any minor damage to our supercarrier.

This is Admiral Aulikki Kärkkäinen, CO of the Battleship Horus. Since we are running silent, I will make this communication brief. We are on our way to the target destination at Bravo Six using a little detour as we are completing our final preparations and diagnostics for the task at hand.

We have been carefully monitoring our systems since we left Fort Carthage and we have no issues so far. Our cloaking device and shields are fully operational, all waveform fluctuations are nominal and within acceptable parameters. Our power core and its grid are stable and without any fluctuation.

It all looks promising. You will be informed once all the preparations are done and we are near our target destination.

Situation update

Good day, Admiral.

As commanding officer of the Order Primary Fleet assets based in Omicron space, I am requesting an update on the operation in Omicron Minor for a better understanding and planning our next steps. I can say with certainty that at least three major units will be involved in the operation – battleships Armageddon, Osiris, and Nekhbet, but I have no certainty in more because we have not su enough protected Taba Starbase and path to Akabat since Thebes was moved out of its constant position.

Major Akabat forces will be involved in reinforcing the Omicron Mu and Omicron Epsilon patrol groups. They are permitted to terminate any non-authorized parties within mentioned systems.

Cairo and Dabadoru garrisons remain without changes until further orders.

Overwatch logistic groups are busy with delivering provision, ship parts, and H-Fuel in sufficient amounts.
