' Wrote:Joel smiled and looked at Phillipe
"Phillipe,I'm telling you this for first and last time:
Watch you cursed mouth, you immature wannabe "gankster"
You are nothing, you can't even drink a bottle of wine without falling on the ground."
Joel looked at the Judge:"Your honour, please excuse my bad tongue."
Mr.Montelimar continued to look at Phillipe,he was still smiling.

***After Joel's comments the room went wild. People were murmuring to each other, bickering at others, and some men looked as if they were about ready to fight. Some men had even taken their coats off and were loosening their ties' while shouting across the court room.

The L`Dubois family sat calmly in their seats, continuing to look almost as if their were enjoying themselves as if this were just a night at the New Paris Opera house. Jacques L`Dubois leaned over to Phillipe, wispered something in his ear, and Philipe nodded with a laugh.

Jacques rose to his feet, and the court room couldn't have gotten quieter faster if the Judge himself has slammed the court gavel down. All attention went to the L`Dubois second.***

***Jacques took another sip of wine, and began to talk***
Gangsters he calls us? Backstabbers he calls us? And he says we can't handle our Wine... such irony
***Jacques chuckles for a second but then returns to his innocently devious grin***

Well thats a first, in all my life I've heard people say such good things to us, toasting us for our help and protection. Citizens of success and Soldiers of honor, invite us to their sons and daughters weddings. Colleges of business and administration on New Paris, have on more than dozen occasions asked us to come speak to their students. I've heard people say such words as honor, class, dignity when describing how the L`Dubois family carries out its lawful business.

***Looking at Joel, Jacques continues***

You are quick to point the finger at us and cower, what for i ask, why were you so scared of Krixx?

You called us backstabber's when we calmly noted how amazingly quickly and groundlessly pointed that finger at us without even thinking twice on the matter. We are a Corsican Family of law abiding peaceful citizens, but if we have to defend ourselves, we will, but not by cowering and side stepping, but by dealing with the problem as quickly and tactfully as possible. Evidence of this ability is our success in business that is has been proven tried and true.

Your definition of backstabbing seems to be very narrow minded and groundless, but I am coming to expect that single minded reasoning from you, its the only thing you seem to be consistent at accomplishing and displaying.

So I'd advise you Joel, a successful businessman to well...a joke, think before you talk. Now lets get back to the business at hand. The Formal hearing about the bounty.

***Jacques, looks to the judge of the court***
Thank you, your Honour, forgive the man's unintelligent tongue.

***Jacques sits down, Phillipe wispers to Jacques, and Jacques gives off a little smirk, then pours them both a glass of wine. The court room stays silent and looks to the Judge in full attendence***
As the hubbub subsided, one of the Naval officers, sitting a few rows back leaned across to his comrade sitting next to him and observed in a hushed tone "I thought this was to be a debate on the legality of the bounty posted by that Junker, not some debate on the wrongdoings of these Corse. They are so very wearisome with their in-fighting..." The man seated next to him nodded, knowingly.

As the room settled down, they sat back, and returned their attention to the proceedings.
Joel looked arround,realising his mistake.
"Indeed, forgive my "unintelligent tongue",but the things Mr.Phillipe said about us are not exactly true.
And the reason Krixx was assassinated,well..." Joel thinks for a second
"...well I admit, it was my mistake that I didn't realised Storm's intentions...But as soon as I found about them,I went and tried to stop him, sadly it was too late..."
"The Montelimar and the Bourbon families will try,and will prevent future "incidents".
"And L`Dubois,no mather what you think about us,we respect you,and we always will.
Joel looks at the judge again
"This is everything I have to say."

Krixx, seemingly annoyed, speaks to his lawyer, who agrees with what he whispers to him. Krixx then stands up.

''With all due respect, Monsieur le Juge, if all this is going to end up in a mafia problem, I'm better off to let them kill each others. I still believe my point was proven, I do not need the authorities of Gallia to support this bounty or not. Thank you very much, and have a nice day.''

Krixx walks out the coutroom, his lawyer following him.
The officers in the GRP looked around. No one was sure how to handle the situation. No one wanted to upset the Corse families, but they did not want to neglect their duties infront of the Naval officers. The court police stood firm, not acting upon the clear disrespectful actions of the court members. Some of the Royal Navy officers, those sitting in the crowd at times stood up to stop this mockery of a courtroom, but were met with strict stares from superior officers. They would sit down, confused, but they trusted their superiors. Something was amiss. As the proceeding continued, each Corsican family spiralled into a chaotic argument. Each side blaming eachother for the mis-representation of their organisations.

Finally the judge had enough. The Jude slammed him gavel five times. *Clang* *Clang* *Clang* *Clang* *Clang*. "Order! I will have order in this mockery of law!" So enraged he threw his gavel on the courtroom floor. Those that were once arguing, stopped. Everyone stood motionless except for the notable officers of the Royal Navy. They had begun collecting their data pads from the table, storing all the data they collected during the hearing in their briefcases.

"This... Mockery of a court will end immediatly!" the judge stood up, face red with rage. "You come into a court of law.. with... A Picnic?! Please, escort these 'gentlmen' out of my court immediatly! This court is adjourned!"

With that, the high ranking Royal Navy Officers had already begun making their way out of the room. Jean Thibault now sat at the table alone, awestruck.. Why did we allow this to continue so long? Why didn't the navy do something about this... disrespect for the King and his laws...

As the judge, stomped down the stairs, a court officer infront of the judge's 'throne' called out to the room "This court is adjourned. The verdict will be decided upon. All conversations and evidence submitted now belongs to the Gallic authorities. The court will re-convine tomorrow.

But-... Wait... This whole meeting was.. A ruse? A front to gather evidence.. Clearly the two families played their parts well. As they bickered with eachother, they may have provided some evidence that could be used against them..

Jean Thibault stood up and watched the crowd shuffle to the exit. Data-pad still in hand, containing the evidence he submitted to the court. Brushing a piece of lint of his uniform, he put his officers cap back on, and made his way out into the lobby of the court-room.
