Bretonian Citizens Coming Home!
NEW LONDON - After almost two weeks of disputes over the situation of the Bretonian citizens evacuted from the war-torn Vespucci system, a conclusion has been reached by the government. With the Whigs still in chaos following Hall's resignation, the Royalists were quick to act and unanimously supported the idea to bring back all citizens and offer them a new home on Planet Carlisle - now one of the most important planets in the Kingdom.

The decision has been communicated earlier today in a press conference also detailing the developments within Liberty and the Kingdom's plans to attempt to secure a more beneficial agreement with the Republic of Liberty over the still-ongoing debt crisis faced by Bretonia. Several sources within the government have also commented the importance of such a decision, stating that "[...] with the looming defeat of the Insurgency and the major loss of the Delaware, Liberty, at long last, finds that it is not invincible. The time to act is now, and we shall do our best to protect our citizen's future."

In an unexpected turn of events, support for the Crown Royalist Party is at an all-time high since the split of the Whigs several years prior. Despite not yet having as much support as the Whigs themselves at the moment, it is expected that it will continue to gain more over the coming months due to the measures taken in light of events within Liberty proper. An uncertain future lays ahead for the Whigs, however, as they are widely criticized by politicians and the populace alike for their "appeasement" and collaboration with Liberty - one that, to this day, has left Bretonia scarred as much as the war with Gallia has, although for different reasons.

Returning to the subject of refugees - The first liners and dedicated passenger-ferrying transports are anticipated to arrive this week, as the Kingdom, in close collaboration with the Republic of Crayter, will commence the repatriation efforts for the citizens waiting on Yuma. The BBC will dispatch reporters on the scene to present this undertaking by the Bretonian and Crayterian authorities this week.

We will provide more information in our next news broadcast. In the meantime, feel free to leave a comment!
