Good evening, the government wishes to grant you access to a transmission sent by Captain Jeffrey Asterius of the Core warship Umbra that is currently stationed at Omicron Nu. The transmission is regarding matters relevant to the internal politics of the Core and the Captain's disapproval towards the decisions of the Core's higher-ups.

The Captain has contacted the government to ask that we provide him and his crew with political asylum. We will leave the decision to the respected and capable representatives of our primary fleets.

The government will be overseeing the transmission channels and will be interfering if the need arises.

Thank you for granting access to the communication submitted by Captain Asterius. Things must be quite bad out in the deeper Omicrons for one of their own to seek refuge within Liberty.

The Forty-sixth Fleet currently has a small Task Group assigned to Omicron Nu. This group is currently being lead by Captain Shepard, Commanding Officer of the LNS Vermont, a Monument Class. Who has been tasked with routine patrols and monitoring activity within the system. As such, I would respectfully request that the Forty-sixth take charge of security and safeguarding protocols, liaise with and support the Liberty Security Force in processing the Umbra's crew, and the Captain.

While the Saint Augustine is currently stationed in and around the relevant operating area, the vessel and her crew are currently preoccupied with other activities.

As such, the Interdictor-class Battlecruiser "Willow Grove", commanded by yours truly, will translate into the system in order to make contact and begin co-agency operations with the Forty-Sixth fleet in order to ensure the crew of the Umbra are thoroughly vetted and pose no threat to the Republic and her people.
