Esteemed representatives,
In light of the newly-approved bill by the Congress of the Republic of Liberty, Her Majesty's Government has taken measures to safeguard Bretonian goods and commerce, and we anticipate they are well understand by the time this message is delivered.
As Interspace Commerce remains the foremost authority acting on behalf of the Republic of Liberty to oversee the exports of Bretonian products, it is in our interest to inform that, as of 02/08/829 AS, the Kingdom of Bretonia is issuing a tax increase of 50% on all vessels bearing Interspace Commerce identification or transponders.
We are also informing that an additional increase of 30% will be issued on all goods leaving Bretonia on Interspace Commerce vessels and bound for either the Republic of Liberty or to another House or Independent World.
The Crown remain open to negotiations, however until a future statement will be released, the previously-mentioned tax increases will be put into motion within the coming hours.
