Your Experience: Opening Ceremony

Many photographers have started flashing their lights before Karl-Heinz left the car. His driver parks the black Mercedes near the main stage, so the Großadmiral would not have to pass many of the paparazzi. The old man walks pass the people of the press and under the watchful eyes of his visitors, together with his granddaughter Kara von Thielau onto the Stage. A mighty banner wearing the imperial crest stands behind him, the imperial colors shine in the sunlight.

The Governeur cleares his throat.
"Guten Abend all together!

For those of you who don't know me, I am Erzherzog Karl-Heinz von Thielau, Governor of the Stuttgart System and Grandadmiral of the Kaiserliche Rheinwehr. My service is to protect all of you. Together with my granddaughter Kurprinzessin Kara von Thielau, Inspekteurin der Kaiserlichen Polizei. Seeing this old kind of festival makes me happy! To look into all of your faces, shining bright and waiting to start the Gaudi.
I am glad that we live in a Rheinland that exists in times of peace for our Vaterland. It has not always been so quiet. So quiet that we can get loud together and celebrate all day and all night!

Thanks to Orbital Spa and Cruise for organizing this Fest. My ancestors came from the old Germany. Usually the Oktoberfest was celebrated in München in Bayern. Saying that I am proud to bring the Wiesngaudi to you in the successor System of the ancient Baden-Württemberg. Be assured, the Rheinwehr Soldaten will protect the Fest and the Polizei will be here to help you when some smaller areas or Festzelte overexaggerate. Krüger will supply you with local Bier throughout the time of the Oktoberfest and if you lack anything, we will try to get the missing things to you for the sake of your fun and enjoyment!

OS&C holds this Planet for a long time now, never have I ever seen so much people around here! Let us keep this positive vibes and use these to celebrate toghether as the People of Rheinland and their guests from all over Sirius!

Karl-Heinz was handed the symbolic first Maßkrug filled up with Bier. He drinks the whole Maß in front of the cheering crowd.
The old man smiles into the Crowd and waves while leaving the stage, to make way for the musicians that play the old bravarian instruments in the way it used to be played.

Your Experience: Distractions

It was a day of contrasts - the Oktoberfest was always such a joyous occasion. Something Traudel looked forward to, almost always feeling giddy with excitement for what usually was to come.

But this time was different. Life changed, tasks changed and perhaps even perspectives changed.
Instead of dwelling longer than necessary on it, the next bite of a rather mighty pretzel follows. Bright blue eyes remain on Großadmiral von Thielau as he departs after declaring the festivities officially opened.

The crowd around Traudel was cheering.
Traudel was not.

Traudel was frowning instead.
Frowning and in thought.

What to do this time? How to distract oneself? Maybe even forget for a while. Just be the old self, be it just for a couple of hours. Tired eyes dart around, observe different points of interest. "How about some beer. Lots of beer. Drowning in beer? Oh come on, Traudel! We can do better than that... maybe dance instead?" No answer follows, half-eaten pretzels make for poor conversational partners after all.
A sigh escapes her lips, just as someone bumps into her and empties about half his beer jug on her shoulder. An accident, no doubt. Yet one that prompts her to get up - maybe it wasn't lazyness she forgot to put on a dirndl. Maybe it was premonition. Regardless, more food for thought. Pleasantries are exchanged, apologies offered... and the Rheinwehr soldier departs to get changed. Certain to return soon again...

Your Experience: Driver, Freetime and Observations

Park the car here, bitte. Erzherzog Karl-Heinz von Thielau ordered. He was in a particular happy mood tonight it seemed. Gunter parked the car as close as he could to the stage.
He left the car and opened the door for his superiors. Gunter and many more security escorted the governor and his granddaughter, Kara von Thielau through the small entrance that led to the grand stage. Their job was to cover them from paparazzi and preventing people from touching him or the Kurprinzessin. Rückwärts bitte! He kept shouting with a pokerface to the nearby crowd.

After a grandiose and rousing speech, Karl-Heinz went down from the stage. Gunter was still clapping when the governor went to him.
Take the evening off, Gunter. Go enjoy yourself with your comrades. Enough people here that will volunteer to get us home tonight! He said with a rather cheerful tone which was unusual from him.

Gunter made contact with some of his crewmates from the RNC-Ostkantone before the fest started. They'd be here too. They met up and placed themselves at a table close to the fairground stands. Gunter wasn't the biggest talker and far from a great joker, but he enjoyed the company and cheerfulness of his friends.
He took a long look at his surroundings. How ironic, not so many years ago many of these folks could eat each other raw. He remarked on a serious tone. You think too much, Gunter. Whatever old, bitter feelings one still might have from the civil war, it sure doesn't exist here at the Oktoberfest! His comrade Basti replied. That was true. Never he'd seen Rheinlanders as happy as here!

Hours passed by and at some point, someone placed an Oktoberfest Herz in front of him. Gunter turned, He was greeted by a lady with a rather adorable smile. Why aren't you wearing your Lederhosen? she asked. Well uhm.. he stuttered. I was supposed to drive and protect a VIP. She raised an eyebrow. Well where is this so called VIP? she asked in a sarcastic tone. I don't know. He raised his shoulders. I guess i'm not that great in doing my job. She chuckled. At least tell me you're a good shooter! I'm not that gr.. Ouch! One of his friends kicked his leg under the table. He looked at Gunter and then pointed his gaze towards the shooting gallery. Gunter looked at the direction of his gaze and quickly changed his words. He stood up and said with a small grin: Why convince you with words when i can show it to you? They left for the shooting gallery holding hands with his crewmates cheering him on.

He didn't have this much fun from a long time. I guess there is a life beyond the farm in Holstein or on a battleship in space... He pondered. Also, why is there no Novemberfest?

Your Experience: Oktoberfest Love

Caitlyn and Stephanie Cross smiled at each other as they looked over the Bierzelt from the VIP area. Cait was a 1,78 Meter Tall Redhead and her Wife Stephanie was 2.01 Meters tall Blonde. They smiled and Sing along with the Band as they Played "A Prosit der Gemütlichkeit." Cait smiled at her Wife and gave her a Loving Kiss after she took a Sip from the Maß. This was a Wonderfull Idea of yours Steph, Look at all the Happy People that have a Great Time. Smirk. And the Profits are also pretty good. Steph could only Laugh as she heard that and smiled at Cait as she shakes her head. Look Around Liebes this here is about much more than just Making Money. Rheinland needed something like this, it is the Social Glue that keeps us as Nation Together. Rheinland has needed the Oktoberfest, it will Heal the Soul of the People, or just make them very very Drunk. Cait smiled and nodded as she looked over the Crowd that had a Huge Party and just enjoyed the Life they had. She knew that Orbital Security and the Rheinland Police would have a lot to do, but she also knew that it would be a hard time for them and she made sure that they would get a Big Bonus in the end.

After a while, both of them decided to Walk over the Wiesen and have some more Fun. They Tried the Auto Scooter (Bumper Cars) and the Ketten Karusell (chairoplane). Both Women Laughed a lot and had big fun as they walked hand in hand over the Wiesen. They Tried the chocolate-covered strawberries and other Chocolate Coated Fruits. And they had a Friendly Competition at one of the Shooting Galleries, it was a Close Call between Steph´s Experience as a Soldier and Cait´s Experience as a Gunslinger in the Borderworlds. But then Cait Won with a Lucky Shot and Claimed a Huge Teddybear as a Prize, but she gave the Cuddly Friend immediately to her Wife to show her how much she loved her. After that, they walked over the Oktoberfest Place and smiled a lot and exchanged a couple of Kisses, and holds each other's hands. After a while, they Bought each other one of the Oktoberfest Hearts that had "I Love You" and " "A Heart for my Heart" Written in Shuggar on the gingerbread heart. After they had fun for a while the both of them Returned to the Bierzelt (Beer Tent) and enjoyed the Rest of the Evening together before they had a Romantic Night in there Cabin on the Red~Velvet~Club.
