Good Morning/Afternoon, or whatever time of time this may reach you,
I am his excellency, Brandon Wright, researcher extraordinaire and Chair of the Starlight Research Consortiums R&D division.
And what pray tell does an R&D Chair need from the mighty Republic? And who exactly is the SLRC? Are no doubt two of your more pressing questions. As to the former publicly available information about our program is available on the nural net. As to the first. You are no doubt unaware, but the Consortium has recently begun stellar mining operations in Omicron Delta to further our research on Iridium Ore and the unique properties it processes. While there are local processers in system who can handle our overburden. This overburden, that is to say the extracted ores that are deemed unsuitable for scientific use but are still more than adequate for industrial use. Is the primary focus on this transmission. You see the majority of our operations are located within the Tau-23 system, at our research facilities, Ikarus Station. And since our teams already need to pass though Republic space on our way back to our primary research stations. I wanted to establish a trading relationship wherein SLRC vessels returning from Delta could bring this overburden ore for processing at Republic facilities to better benefit not only our coffers, and the Republics civilian industry. But also to allow the Republic to request already process Iridium from Freeport 11 for advanced technological constructions, thereby freeing up Republic logistical vessels from this task.
