It's been a while since our two companies last communicated, but I still think I've come to the right place with my concerns.
I am contacting you today at the request of my boss.
And it is about the following:
We would like to replenish our aluminum stock and need some support in the form of some transporters,
as unfortunately only Kruger or Daumann are allowed to mine aluminum ore.
Our company has one asteroid miner available which is currently not in use but is regularly maintained meaning it would be usable if you have anyone who would like to mine ore as well they are welcome to do so.
The same applies to vans, of course.
If their pilots would like to fly something bigger, they are more than welcome to board our ships and speed up the space mining operation, as criminals have been spotted in the system and area several times lately.
Any profit made with the ships provided, the pilots are allowed to transfer to their bank via onboard transfer.
Our local dealer paid 2,000 SC per unit during the Operation.

Unfortunately, my partner Vincent is indisposed at the moment. I'll be handling this deal in his stead.

I appreciate the offer of your mining vessels very much, but flying with non-NHI transponders is against our policy. More so, we wouldn't want to anger the Rheinland authorities by mining without a license. Meaning, if we were to fulfill the contract with mining included, we'd have to apply for a mining license in Frankfurt. I'll try to get in touch with Rheinland officials about the matter. As a branch of a Rheinland domestic company, I assume your endorsement on our appeal would be worth something. Is it okay if I present a quote of our deal in our appeal? It should at least get us temporary license, if anything.

One thing we can do without doubt is the logistics part of the deal. We have recently acquired a small fleet of l'Ane-class transports from our sources in Gallia, and our recently hired pilots would be eager to try them our in action.

However, I must admit that the price of 2,000 SC per unit doesn't sound very appealing. Especially for a metal that's the main source of income for your company.
Should the government accept our appeal for a license, I'd expect no less than 2,700 SC per unit, as we both mine and haul the ore. In the case where we only do the hauling, I am willing to accept 2,500 SC per unit.

Please let me know what you think. No price is ever final and we're open for negotiations.

I'd love to sign another contract with you, but you should know that inflation works both ways. A 20% cut in price seems a bit steep. Since you're a returning customer and a fair businessman, I'm willing to go as low as 2,200 SC per unit. Sounds good?
