Warships Go Missing In Taus

TAU-31 - In what can only be described as a desperate move to save the crews of several military ships that have went missing in the deeper Taus, Bretonia, Kusari and Crayter have mobilized a substantial amount of forces for a rescue mission that is scheduled to begin in the hours to come.

With all three states sending pilots to take part, this mission remains the largest such deployment of forces since the launch of operations in Orkney a year prior, with officials stating that 'more than 20 warships of all types will be involved' in total.

A guide to the events unfolding in Tau-29 - Yesterday, at this very hour, reports came in of several missing warships in the border worlds connecting Kusari to Bretonia. Though initially only a Crecy-class vessel, alongside a Crayter gunboat and their fighter escorts were marked as missing in action, only half an hour later, Kusari officials arrived with even more concerning news -- that a battlecruiser force has lost contact with headquarters, in the very same region that the previous incident had occured.

Ships were hastily mobilized from the Macduff to aid the Akatsuki in their search for the crews, although, until the arrival of heavier vessels better equipped to face directly against the might of nature, efforts to locate the lost ships remain at large in vain. While these heavier ships are still en route, the lost crews are both at risk of death or capture by unwanted elements.

Officials have not provided many details related to the incident beyond offering a description of the ships that have been disappeared. Still, they have offered guarantees that the efforts that will come in the next days will result in the rescue of any survivors and the salvage of the vessels' should they be found in a state that allows for them to be brought back.

What types of ships have went missing? - As of 18th of December, confirmed vessels that are part of these incidents are the HMS Mary Rose, a Crecy-class warship, the CFV Maxim, a Hydra-class gunboat, the IKN Akagi, a battlecruiser of the Naval Forces, and four escort wings, with two on either side, composed of approximately 32 snubcrafts.
