Dear Mr. Hollywood,

I know we haven't officially met yet, I only know you by reputation. I would like to introduce myself to you as we are now neighbors here in Bering. I have just recently purchased Seward Station from its previous owner as he expressed a desire to retire and live out the rest of his days quietly. I don't have any immediate plans to implement any refining or factories at this time but I want you to know that we will keep an abundant amount of material on hand should your shipyards need any. I expect there to be an increase in traffic trough here in the following weeks as I have also decided to store some Helium Gas here as well. I have a lot of customers in the Omicrons who are in need of such things. Keep an eye out for other interesting goods that we may have on hand from time to time. I hope to soon begin renovations to create more storage as well as a decent Hotel and Casino to compliment our already well stocked bar and live entertainment. With that in mind, I would like to extend an invitation for you to come over for a visit so we can discuss business. I just received a shipment of fine cigars and some luxury food if you would care to join me at the bar.

Best regards, "Junker" Jim Owens

The Direktor started to talk, visibly troubled.

"Gutten abend.
It is admirable of you that you've informed us about the change in the base's leadership. You seem like a man who knows what he is saying. Well, purchasing such a structure from one's pocket is a skill in itself. However, regarding the station, the same terms apply to you as they did with the previous owner and those are:

- You will offer 10.000 units of storage capacity on your station should we request so in the future. This is a way of slight taxation. Instead of asking for monthly credit, we request storage space our pilots can use as the middle ground for trade deals.
- You will give UN]- tagged ships the permission to dock on your station and acquire Helium at a discounted rate should we request so in the future.

However, you speak of being tied to the Omicron markets. You also mentioned a casino and a hotel, we might have a few opportunities there as well. If you're willing to tell me more we might work something out. Of course, such deals aren't made over the neutral net but over a glass of whiskey and a cigar. The one you speak of. If you don't mind the presence of a few armed guards that is."

The speaker leans in at the camera as the stream ends.

Dear Mr. Hollywood,

I find your terms acceptable and will set aside the requested cargo space for your use. Your pilots are welcome here at any time to use our facilities should such a need arise. I foresee great potential for profits working together for our mutual benefit. I very much look forward to a meeting to discuss these matters in person. Until that time I bid you a good day.

Best regards, "Junker Jim" Owens
