Honorable Guildmasters of the Independent Miners Guild,
The Republic bids the Guild good tidings. I deliver this message hoping it reaches you all in good health. It has been some time since we have made contact with the guild since the fall of the Orange Hammer. Unfortunately conflict has found it's way to our doorstep again. The Gallic Union has refused the freedom of the free colonies once again and have set foot into Tau-44 thinking it is what it once was. So far they have met nothing but failure for themselves. The Republic implores the Guild to stay safe in these harsh times and prepare for what may come in the future. The Crayter Republic will strive to return peace to the Taus, and wishes the Guild to join us in such endeavor.
I also warn for Camp Lister there has been an uptick in Technocrat activity. They have been known to prey on defenseless transports and civilian vessels alike. Even known to slaughter refugees fleeing from war and Liberty's savage assault in Vespucci. Taking casualties being evacuated from Orange Hammer, and even try to take slaves from our liberation efforts against Outcasts. These terrorists will kill anyone that they set their eyes on, with your guildsmen being no different. They are above nothing and should proceed with utmost caution. It's hard to say their ethics are hardly human anymore. Any attempt to guile ships into their controlled system of Inverness is most likely to be a trap, and one unlikely to come out of. We suggest complete avoidance of the system entirely.
The relation between the Crayter Republic and the Independent Miners Guild has been little and shaky since the Aland Crisis which we all remember as a tragedy, but we will not let innocents be slaughtered. We do not wish for the same fate to happen to any of the free colonies of the Taus, may it be Crayter or Guild. If the Guild is in need Crayter will always offer a helping hand.
