DISPLAYING MESSAGE

To the last of the Insurgency,

Your fight is over. Your chain of command is broken and your leaders have abandoned you. Once Liberty's Navy destroys the last few stragglers in Guadalajara's orbit, they are likely to bombard the unfortunate settlers who did not manage to evacuate. Your Commonwealth is a distant memory, a tattered dream. The only thing Knight led you to separate from was life and breath, and the Legion's ferocious hellfire has entirely burnt itself out. You have no way out, and nowhere left to run.

Except us.

For years, Auxo and the Legion fought side by side in the pursuit of a better, more just galaxy. We collaborated closely on scientific endeavours and worked for the progress of all mankind as friends. It has been a long time since those days, when the Battlegroup Auxesia was enriched by thousands of Hellfire's veterans joining forces with us under The Initiative, when the Legion gained near-daily ground and claimed victory after victory against the Navy. All of it ruined by the twice-traitor Knight's insatiable lust for power. Now she's run off to the Xenos, your other former friends, who turned their backs on you. And, irony of ironies, West has turned tail and plead with Crayter to remain in command of those few ships which she can be bothered to issue orders to.

Yet, the Technocracy has not forgotten. Despite you turning your backs on us, those of Auxo who have served since before your betrayal remember the great fruits once borne of our cooperation. And we know that your last redoubt, the great Leniex, home of the brightest minds still free of Liberty's chains, cannot stand on its own. Surely you must know it too.

Come to us.

We reach out our hand in forgiveness and mercy to all the scientists, engineers, life support specialists, fighter pilots, freighter captains, biologists, physicists, engine technicians, from admiral to ensign, who still keep the great hidden fortress's walls standing. Bring us your technology, your schematics, your weapons, your hopes and dreams, the fruits of your labour, and we will give you sanctuary. The Technocracy will provide you a new banner under which to fight and to live, and new comrades to defend, or ferry you to safety away from Liberty's reach that you may retire, according to your wishes.

Do not let the innovations of decades perish with your fleet.

Do not die alone in Vespucci.

Sentinel Gestalt of the Technocracy of Auxo, speaking for the Directorate and Inner Phalanx, over and out.

Sentinel,

You're musing an awful lot of unsubstantial words for talking to desperate people as you're portraying us; but it's true, we're fighting a war of attrition that won't - just can't end in our favor anymore; if you're done with ideological discourses and historical excursions - what are you conditions? Speak, time is of the essence. And ask questions - if there's anything you want cleared out beforehand.

Subject: Tough chance

Do you think the Legion doesn't remember? You used us, for technology, for your own gains and goals. But when we needed you most you abandoned us. There is no chance in hell the Legion we will rebuild would trust you ever again to put it's faith to your hands.

But you are not the only ones. My cowardly crew deserted me and stole my own flagship when I wanted to go down as a martyr and fuck up the Ohio with a glorious suicide run. Harmony and Knight are the cause of this whole mess. Gladius is gone. What's left of the Legion is the Infernal, our own broken Battleship, and a handful of survivors ready to rebuild and start fresh. Make no mistake, we will go on, the spirit of the Commonwealth will be reignited. , we will start as we once had. The last of us are still in Vespucci, doing what damage we can, Leniex hasn't been penetrated yet.

We will in the long run come out stronger, we will rebuild, and learn from our mistakes like putting our fate in the hands of the likes of you and the treacherous Separatists. We will not have the resources, fleet and economy, but we will once again have something we lost when Insurgency was made - an Ideology we believe in, something to fight for, not only against.

The future
Although you cannot expect us to join you and find sanctuary with you, the Commonwealth will find its pulse again, the Legion will rise like the Phoenix from the ashes of the massive error that was the Insurgency. We will seek refuge elsewhere, be it where we started all those years back on some godforsaken Hacker bases, or as Freelancers. But once we rebuild, and we will, then we can talk. Not as someone whose hands we will put our fate in, but as partners with rational common goals and trade potential. As we once had.

This I can promise you.

DISPLAYING MESSAGE

Captain Reznik.

Our terms are simple. Load your ship up with whatever equipment, blueprints, and databanks you can grab from Leniex, rendezvous with our people, and hand it all over to us. We will offer you and any men who serve under you a secure exfiltration from Vespucci, and an opportunity to fight under the Technocracy's banner against not only Liberty, but all the perfidious backstabbers who left the Legion for dead, creating a better and more rational, just world. If you have tired of fighting altogether, we can see to it that you are given an out, finding shelter with the Zoners, the IMG, or taken into Rheinland under falsified credentials that won't have the BDM breathing down your neck, so that you can live as a civilian.

Far better than running out of oxygen in some godforsaken nebula, or eventually being found by the Navy and mortared into oblivion.

Noah Angel.

The Technocracy has never "used" you. We stood by your side and fought hand in hand, with mutual exchanges of technology, supplies, and intelligence conducted with regular frequency. When the traitor Knight seized power in your organization, one of the first and greatest mistakes she made was deciding to fight us despite the continual help we offered you. If you reject this offer, there is no one left in Sirius to lend you aid. We already know that the murderous Cretans offered many of your skilled fighters to serve under their flag, and we are greatly disappointed at how many of you took them up on that. We would hope that the same wisdom and discretion you have shown in turning them down would lead you to realize that Auxo is truly your best bet here, but if you insist on maintaining Knight's hostile stance, we will not stop you from dying friendless and alone in a fruitless last stand.

Just know when your ship decompresses that it did not have to end there.

To all others reading this transmission and mulling over their options.

I implore you to make the right decision. Not just for yourselves, but for the future of justice and prosperity in Liberty and in Sirius. You can live to fight another day. The legacy of Drake Thastus does not have to end here.

Well, Sentinel, I must say, you do have a way with words. And you seem to press my buttons well. The thing is - we are at fault, I...am at fault. We were all just hungry for glory, we couldn't stay contempt, the Legion, we were just more and more peacekeepers, of a fully working nation, that finally brought in what Liberty never could. There was little glory to be had protecting the refugees, the citizens of the Commonwealth. We were blinded. Blinded by our own lack of glory, by our relegated role, by our egos.

We should have followed our orders and let Knight boil in Bering - so I suppose it is the Legion's fault the relationship dwindled when we trusted that treacherous whore and her band of spineless defectors. We just wanted to be like Thastus...put our name down in history.

So well, we will actually consider your offer. You must know that the Legion will regroup, and the Commonwealth will rise again not as a real nation, but as an idea that can grow once more to what we have destroyed. We are not leaving Liberty, we will remain here and continue our fight, we are not cowards who will run. Those handful of us who are left.

So for now I thank you for the option. We will fight to the last moment until we know Leniex will not stay hidden and stand its ground. Where we will regroup depends on future circumstances, but you sure are right that the fault is in the Legion's hands as well, and we will need any ally we will be able to get that doesn't compromise our ideals too much, and that will include you.

Noah Angel.

I have no confidence that you will succeed in this endeavour. There is nothing left with which to rebuild. However, if you somehow prove me wrong, do know that Auxo will be here to rekindle what our two forces once shared. If you are dead-set on this, I and the rest of the Technocracy wishes you only the best of luck. If you think better of it, know that our offer will remain.

Of course, you could always split the difference. Entrust us with whatever valuable information and technology remains on Leniex, so that if your efforts to resurge are successful despite the inevitable fall of the Fort itself—realistically, you and I know it is only a matter of time—that all the knowledge gathered by the Legion under the likes of Mori, Locklear, and Brass will have been kept alive in good custody, ready to be returned to you once you have more than a snowball's chance in hell to actually use and protect it. And if I'm right that your efforts are doomed to failure, at least your legacy will stay alive in the innovations of your people, shepherded by the only friend your Commonwealth ever had that never once stabbed it in the back.

Think about it.

Sentinel,

I see we've something in common: the Legion lives on not only in the idea and the people but in the knowledge, so the plan was to take the databanks either way. I've some men on the task of copying any valuable data - as much as those on the Arbiter can fit; it best not be an elaborate plot to squeeze the ship dry of anything valuable and dispose of the crew. Something I see Crayter would do, it strikes me as odd as to why West took a turn to that Liberty's pocket nation. I've no doubt they're close enough friends with the Yellowstone orbiting Yuma for how long now? It's been months upon months.

We'll plot for the future when the present pressing matter is out of the way.

Noah,

I'm not as good with words as Gestalt. But I suggest you evacuate yourself and your men through whatever means still available to you. There'll soon be no solid ground left to stand on.

That's if you care to live another day and continue your ideological crusade.

Seems like this message has somehow reached me all the way in New York, shouldn't be a surprise that it did, considering I'm practically still part of the organization. Gestalt, look, I'm not good at politics, it never was my forte and it likely never will be. Your talk's good and all but I don't have much to reply back. What the rest of the Insurgency has done is beyond my control and at this point beyond my care. All that remains of the Insurgency is an idea that will without doubt be forgotten with the passage of time.

I don't know what reasons were behind the decisions that the once commanding officers of the Insurgency made against the Technocracy, but as things have turned out to be it doesn't really matter at the end of the day. The only thing that matters to myself is my own opinion of you, and I know I've got nothing against you.

Whichever the case may be, I shouldn't stray far from the subject of this transmission.

Seeing how I don't have much place to go, and retirement is not in my plans anytime soon, your offer doesn't sound too terrible. That being said, there is barely any technology, schematics or weapons for the Technocracy to gain out of me. There is a gunboat with barely any crew left, and an individual with a strong desire to not stop fighting the corrupted idiots that the Navy is comprised of.

As you can probably tell, I don't have much to put on the table - in fact I've got close to nothing.

Captain Reznik,

I'm glad to hear that you're interested. Whenever you're ready for exfil, let us know over a more secure channel and we'll bring a jump-capable ship to quickly exfil you and your men from Vespucci without catching the Navy or Security Force's attention. The Legion was always a solid and dependable ally, right up until the day that it wasn't. I promise that your people will be taken care of. The Technocracy is many things, but we are not liars.

As for West and Crayter, I wish I knew what was going on there. We have visual confirmation of one of her ships being escorted by their forces to Coronado—how they've done it without the Yellowstone taking note is beyond me, but the fact remains that she left you and the rest of the Insurgency for dead while managing to secure a comfortable exit for herself. I have little doubt that the thought of assisting your remaining forces in a similar way never even crossed her mind.

Anyway, once your data is secured, let us know. What happens afterwards will be discussed in due time, but rest assured we intend to hold to our word.

Dragonfly,

If you want to continue the fight, working with us is likely your best option. The only alternative I can imagine is throwing yourself at the mercy of the Rogues and hoping they don't slit your throat while laughing at you for even trying. You and your handful of surviving crew will be taken good care of should you wish it. As before, our only condition is that you allow us to thoroughly study the inner workings of what's left of your gunship. Exfil to Freeport 14 if you're able, and if not, we can organize a rescue mission on quick notice. Assuming your ship is the Inquisitor model, I can't guarantee we'll be able to keep it running, but if we can, it would benefit all of us to see you continue using equipment you're already familiar with.

Hope to see you soon.
