Matsuo-sama,

I hope this communication finds you in good health. I send you this communication for two purposes;

The first is that we have found the records and history of the Seigi no Mikata. Here are the important footnotes:

  • Construction completed in 801 AS, a new generation vessel after the brief conflict with Rheinland, and assigned the moniker 'IKN Seigi no Mikata'.

  • First Captained by Commander Ikari.

  • Participated in interdictions against the Blood Dragons.

  • Received major engine damage when a Blood Dragon pilot's reactor went critical and crashed his vessel at full speed into the Seigi no Mikata. Was left stranded with a small fighter patrol for two days in Northern Kyushu until service ship repaired the damage.

  • Reassignment to the Taus after retrofit. Now captained by Captain Yoshida.

  • Participated in anti-Bretonian Privateer action as a rear-guard vessel during the conflict with Bretonia.

  • During the height of the conflict with Bretonia, was assigned to protect the Northern flank from fast approachers such as Bretonian gunships during the Battle of Tau-31 in 817 AS. Gallic Battleship main cannons directly connect with the starboard side. Ejection pods are launched. Captain Yoshida remains behind to scuttle the Seigi no Mikata and is presumed KIA.

  • Information becomes scarce. Exiled forces likely have recovered the hull of the Seigi no Mikata, either for spare parts or even to try to put her in an actionable state once more.

  • Hull once more appears as part of IKN inventory only around 825 AS. The notes indicate that the vessel is 'viable' if 'heavily damaged'. It is noted that many parts of it are not up to standard: the reactor is patchworked with IMG gear and some systems are powered by Gallic fuel.

  • 828 notes state that the vessel is once more operational.

  • 830 AS, the vessel fails trials to return to active Naval service. It is still seen as a viable weapon platform, and thus was leased to the KSP under the name 'KSPS Seigi no Mikata', Captained by former RO Asao, a retired KNF reserve officer turned policewoman.

As you can see, Kusari artisan work endures the truest hardships, and a venerable vessel such as the Seigi still proudly serves the Emperor to this day. As experienced on the field together, her old age has not slowed her down in her role one bit.

Secondly, and much more briefly, here are the scans that were requested. As I have stated, it seems that the so called 'fortification' is actually stripped down to its bare bone components. Yet, it would not be impossible to retrofit it into an actual platform - the largest difficulty would be to rework the near-alien Gallic technology to work with ours efficiently enough to make this endeavor worthwhile.

I hope this satisfies your curiosity, Matsuo-sama. We are proud to serve the Emperor.
