Liberty Navy, First Fleet [LN]-

Hello! We're the Liberty Navy First Fleet, (Our ingame tag is [LN]-). We're currently an unofficial faction seeking to boost our activity and have a great time doing it! We've been around for a pretty long time, and we're home to many experienced members of the Discovery Freelancer community. We're home to players who enjoy both PVP and RP, so we like to think we're a pretty great place to learn the ropes of either focus, and we strive to be a warm and welcoming environment, whether you're a newbie, or you've been here on and off since 2008 like me!
You're probably wondering what we focus on, or what we're about besides being just another military faction, and to that I say the following:
If you're a PVP player, we have a variety of shared snubcraft and capital ships that you'll be able to access, with more becoming available as you progress in rank! We also have some exceptional snubcraft PVP players who're well regarded in the community, and can definitely teach you how to fly pixel fighters pretty well! We also have a group of shared snubcraft called Gold Wing, reserved for the best PVPers that we have, something you could earn your way into, if that's what you're looking for!
As for ranks, that's just an inRP system, and advancement is fairly easy just by putting time in! Out of RP, every member of the faction is an equal, nobody is going to talk down to you or shout you down like an angry drill sergeant in the movies, we strive for a welcoming and chill environment, despite the fact that we RP as a strict military force. While we do want to partake in PVP focused activities like raids or counter raids on a regular basis, we also strive to be more than just a pvp group, though since we do play in Liberty, there's plenty of that to go around!
If you DO like the idea of military faction roleplay, we regularly fly routine "patrol missions" throughout Liberty space, and even write reports about them too. These patrols are a great way to learn the map, learn core gameplay aspects, and spend time enjoying the experience of roleplaying as military officers defending the borders of The Republic of Liberty, enforcing its laws, and fighting off Liberty's many enemies when they do show up. There are also significant opportunities open to us for making credits through PVE, and we have players happy to do that with you!
We also have a significant presence in forum roleplay, if that's something you're looking to learn and be involved with.
Maybe you want to do something a little out of the ordinary for a military faction and do recon missions, or pvp/roleplay focused on dealing with the alien Nomad threat posed to humanity throughout Sirius, we have a subgroup for that too, called the ESRD
Finally, as a new recruit, we'll provide access to shared fighters for use during your introductory period (first flight) with us, and we can provide assistance with funding your first tagged snubcraft for use after that period as well.
