Konbanwa, to my new esteemed colleague

I suppose a brief introduction is in order. My name is Joshua Mizushima, son of Kyushu, and Kusari as a whole. Do not let the Libertonian name fool you, it is merely a tradition within my long-running dynasty. With bottomless vigour, I bring myself to you - Yoshimoto Susumo - and offer every fibre of my being in order to cultivate a stronger Kusari.

My recent re-emergence into the market stems from newfound breakthroughs made by our counterparts, and with great alacrity I present myself as a helping hand in whatever endeavours the firm would require of me. My skills within the corporate scope are vast, and I am no stranger to the intricacies that keep the industrial and economic facets ongoing. Additionally, my shimmering visage has proven to influence others to reach amicable and cordial stances towards the organisations I represent.
Rest assured I am not exclusive to the office desk, space-faring operations are second nature to me.

With the introductions out of the way and my proud spirit on the table, I can only wait for what is next.

Estemeed Joshua Mizushima

it is my pleasure to make your acquaintance. My name is Yoshimoto Susumu. I am a member of the directors board of Senkaku Regional Development, and I've been told to supervise your first few jobs - if you wish to call them such - for Senkaku Regional Development, or SRD in short.

I have to admit, your resume was quite impressive, hence I assume it has been decided that you are to be trained to join the directors board as soon as possible. We have rececently been helping the Naval Forces and other parties that uphold the interests of Kusari within the newly found Uncharted Sector. It has to yet be made public, but the SRD plans on further gaining influence by incorporating the Uncharted region into our scope of interest. With that in mind, we do rely on the assistance of the Naval Forces, if only in the beginning, and have already joined them on several of their expeditions into the sector.

What I wish for you to do for your first talk is open talks between the KNF and the SRD regarding the aforementioned sector. We need their support as much as they need ours. From what I have been able to gather, you have previously had experience in dealing with the Kusari Naval Forces, as such, I hope you're able to complete this task and help us grow our influence further.

I look forward to hearing a positive reply.
Sincerely,
Yoshimoto Susumu, Senkaku Regional Development

Executive Susumu, I bring news from the Naval Forces.

In our expeditions, a Naval freighter - Itsumaden - has overseen our work in Ishigaki. With this eyewitness confirming our diligence within the field we can expect the complete trust and blessing of the Naval Forces. Furthermore, he brings word of the Yokosuka weapon trials; they managed to launch a prototype of tachyon origin, although as you can imagine - further details are classified. Our executive decision to share findings with the Naval Forces will ought to prove a beneficiary, long-term access to future products from Yokosuka.

That is not all, in regards to the Kyushu crisis the officer broadcasted a stance which lacked initiative, ultimately resting the duty on our shoulders, but, he did not leave us empty-handed. He departs a bold suggestion to contact Honshu and enlist the help of their astute minds from Tenmei University, presumably to erect a proper think-tank that is dedicated to solving the Kyushu crisis. He lastly suggested that we attempt to establish discourse with Honshu through Clan Shimamori.

I have recruited the help of one of our market analysts to decipher this clan;
Clan Shimamori is a Honshu-born dynasty that - characteristically - is a large proponent of Honshu values and undoubtedly Kishiro interests. They own the large media outlet - All Honshu Network - and the popular entertainment channel - Honshu Fun TV - leading us to believe that they are an undeniably influential voice for the people of Honshu. "Coincidentally", it seems that Clan Shimamori is the primary benefactor of the aforementioned university - Tenmei.

While our eastern counterparts at Honshu historically bear animosity towards us westerners, we should look to put aside our differences when Kusari faces catastrophe. With the information we have gathered, we are looking at a powerful potential cooperator, that shares our love for the Emperor and keen eagerness to put Kusari's domestic issues at top priority.

Ultimately, it is your directions which have the final say.

The Itsumaden is indeed one of the few vessels that the Naval forces have decided to send into the Earhart system on more than one occassion, to both guard our transports as well as gathering intel on their own. Knowing that, having them trust our company completely may prove to be extremely useful in the future. While our forces and especially our escort wings are praise-worthy and oftentimes highly trained personell, one can never have another yet another measure of safety in place, thus producing these prototype weapons is of great interest to us. Knowing that, and that we've gained the Forces' trust, we may be able to advance our production further and produce them in a volume that will fit not just our interests; becoming yet another possible good that the SRD; and by extension Samura Heavy Industries; can sell for high sums of credits.

When it comes to the matters regarding Honshu, I am unable to draw a conclusion on my own. What we require and desire the most at the current time is to advance the research on the Cryo-Organisms and answer the question of wether or not they can be helpful in saving Kyushu. If you believe that it is possible for the Shimamori Clan, as well as the Tenmei University, to become a partner that we can come to trust, then I will ask that you do your utmost to come to an agreement with them. It is, of course, of immense importance that they will not reap the honor of being the Saviours of Kyushu, should they be able to advance the research to a point where they may prove vital. On the contrary, should they fail and the organisms turn out to be a dud, I expect that Samura Heavy Industries will not be held accountable for making the people put trust into a failed product. If you are certain that we can use their power of the people for our own good, then I suggest you approach them ASAP; if you doubt your abilities then I suggest we take a slower approach and see where it leads us.

I look forward to hearing a positive reply.
Sincerely,
Yoshimoto Susumu, Senkaku Regional Development

Our time is running short, Executive Susumu.

Our recent reports from both Junyo and Kyushu exclaim great urgency in finding and enacting immediate relief proceedings. While the situation on Junyo could be contained with concentrated effort. The Kyushu crisis pulled the futon from underneath us, violently exacerbating the calamity into a problem greater than the sum of its parts. With two of our greatest assets in existential danger, dire measures must be considered to paramount priority, even if it subverts Masamune Samura's legacy, he would understand; that it is for the greater good of Kusari.

It comes as no surprise that the catastrophic decline resulted shortly after the Guild's brutal attack and occupation of Kurile, the far-eastern jewel that the bulk of Kusari prospered from. It is the curious creatures that inhabit the oceans which make everything possible, and thus it is critical we obtain access promptly, in any capacity available to us.

In the forthcoming times, I will draft a diplomatic approach towards the prestigious Clan Shimamori that sits high atop Honshu society. They, with their planetwide influence, can most presumptuously bridge an understanding between us. I shall relay our "modest" interest in securing shipments from Kurile, meanwhile, our board must think of ways to compensate them - We all know business is not cheap.

May Kusari see better days.
