Jefferson Daniel Phelps is currently the CEO of AP Manufacturing. He started working for AP Manufacturing as the second officer on an inter-system cargo ship after graduating from the Liberty Merchant Marine Academy. During his longer cruises, he used his spare time to continue his studies and get three additional advanced degrees. His abilities were recognized early on, and he was quickly promoted to shipmaster. During the construction of Durban Station in Omega-56, a construction accident could have been serious if Phelps hadnt maneuvered his ship to block the gap caused by a scaffold failure. This skill earned him his promotion to captain of the APM flagship, the Sagittarius. It was then that the board of directors found that Phelps had also, through wise investment, had also become one of the largest shareholders in the company as well. While he still captains the APM-Sagittarius, Jeff has also been in charge of construction of Dabadoru Station in Omicron-Delta, requiring him to be off the bridge for extended periods of time.
