Bounty Hunter Guild Jobs Board

Eliminate the Competition

The Reaver Mercenaries have been a thorn in our side for too long. Now we hear they intend to establish a unlawful presence in Liberty. We need you to teach them a lesson - anywhere and everywhere you find them.

Likewise the SMP (whatever that means) have been attacking our ships.

We expect you to gather intelligence on them and report all relevant data to the Guildhall. Proceed to the dark corners of space and kill them all. You'll earn a million credits for each one and you'll earn the Guild's gratitude, which is worth more than money can buy.
Some of our other ships may be able to help you but you'll be on your own until then.

The following bounties are only available in the Omicrons, Omegas, Sigmas and the Taus. You must be a Guild member (BHG / BHGCore ID - no mercs or freelancers need apply)

Capital ships may only accept station security contracts or contracts against other, similarly sized or larger capital ships.

Priority Targets

None at this time

Nomads/Keepers/Wilde

Our work requires live specimens. The bonuses below are doubled if the target is captured alive. Collected specimens should be returned to the SDS Laboratories.

Any ship bearing Wilde, Keeper, Nomad ID - 1.5 million credits

The Order

The war with the Order is being fought by the Guild Core. You should be admitted to the Core before participating in this struggle. However, any Order ID'd ship or ship of Order manufacture may be destroyed - 1 million credits payable

Corsairs

<strike>As allies of The Order, the population of Crete pose a sizeable threat. Utilise any opportunity to destroy them.</strike>

Any Corsair ID'd ship - 1 million credits
Cruisers/Battleships (The Corsairs have extensive capital ship building facilities) - 1.5 million credits

NOTE: This bounty is NOT valid in ANY of the Omicron systems, or within the system of Omega-41
Outcasts

While still not as much a threat as their southern cousins, the people of Malta are rumoured to have a connection to the Nomad threat and may in fact be hosts to a sizeable Nomad population. Burn them all.

All Outcast ID'd ships - 1 million credits
Cruisers and Battleships (rumours of the existence of a large shipbuilding facility in Omicron Alpha have proven to be true) - 1,500,000 credits

The Red Hessians

This revolutionary group has disrupted our supply lines. Make them pay.

Any Red Hessian ID'd - 1 million credits
Pirate Cruisers (Rarely sighted but no doubt dangerous) - 1,500,000 credits

Any Pirate ID, SCRA, Phantom, Harvester or Terrorist ID'd ships may be hunted with impunity. We can't run the risk of supplies to our forward stations being delayed by these vermin. Flat fee of 1 million credits.

SPECIAL NOTE: Any ships actively assisting the Order is also considered bountied as well even if not specifically listed above. This includes freelancers, mercenaries, or ANY other ship, regardless of size, classification or ID. Assisting the Order includes delivering supplies directly to any Order base and carrying Order technology.

Station Security

All Core ships are authorised to secure the 15k perimeter surrounding Dabadoru Station, Rostock Station and the Omega 56 Jump-hole.

Any non-Guild or Core ship entering these areas is to be requested to leave and destroyed if they refuse. Exceptions may be made for people who intend to land for missions, to purchase the Guild ID or to drop off supplies.

Unlawful ships or ID holders should be destroyed immediately. Any ships near Dabadoru found to be mining Iridum should drop all cargo and leave or face destruction.

A flat fee of 1 million credits applies to all targets destroyed.

Salutations;

'Billybob'. Your attitude is out of line. I will clarify this once.

' Wrote:...To make this much easier on ya, dont worry about other junkers helpin' me out, 'dey to scared to protect 'der own hides from Hogosha and Farmers bounties.
The blame for the incident you refer to falls squarely on you. Upon the detection of a mercenary signal, one of the escorts with you issued the order to vacate the trade lane, which you refused to do -- if my logs are correct you replied 'no, this is faster'.

My personal agent Fawkes ended up intercepted due to your actions, and engaged to keep the mercenary snubfighter off your tail. He found his hardware tactically incompatible with the pilot in question, and was medically unfit to match the grade of combat the reaction time and skills of said pilot demanded. Congressman Pajo drew fire to allow Fawkes' escape, and the plan was very explicitly stated to break free before the merc's wingman arrived with disruptors; denying the mercs their payday and allowing a clean break with no casualties. That was the only objective as further combat with their vessels would be unnecessary; a waste of time and effort.

Your associate Ivan chose to disregard this strategy and ended up with a heavily damaged frigate to show for it. That marks two very clear incidents where you and your associate ignored the advice of fellow Junkers, and placed both those flying on your wing and crewing your ships in danger as a result.

I will say nothing else aside from that you were shown the same courtesy that you showed others in your brotherhood. These messes are due to your own decisions; while we will come to the aid of Junkers with a head on their shoulders, those that let petty grudges and illusions of 'reputation' in the eyes of others rule their actions will not be allowed to drag down everyone else.

Straighten up and learn what is needed of you. Think your actions through from now on, or you will find yourself removed from our order very quickly. As for this bounty, I am sincerely curious as to how the Core interceptor fleets in there haven't reduced you to your base components yet. Explain this to me if we can pull you out of a mess of your own making before it's too late.

- Bishop

Libertonians have an idiom - I believe it runs along the lines of "a picture is worth a thousand words." I can do you one better - two pictures, two guncam shots.

Enter our sanctum sanctorum uninvited, and a horrible fate awaits you; bear that in mind as your escape pod tours Bering, Lonewolf. One lesson has been taught, four remain - Miss Carson, please wire the Junker Congressman's bounty to my neural net account, I'll split it with my partner-in-arms Dan Blake. Thank you, Martin out.

(Was that sufficiently melodramatic, I wonder?)

Vackhus - last seen in Omega 56, flying a Kusari bomber, Kusari Navy ID - obviously a spy.

Kill him. Usual bounty.

And see if the Kusari Guildmaster can figure out what the heck this guy was doing down here?

I have half the mind to take a cargo full of laughing gas and drop it off ya shipyard in Omega-56. Maybe that'll make ya nicer varmits.. atleast it will put a smile on ya face, HA!

TO: Guildmistress Esther Carson

RE: BillyBob, captain of the .:j:.Lonewolf

Commander Abigail Hearns of the BHG|Core-Pallas.Athene had contacted my ship as we were approaching our home system for refitting of our weapons systems. Previously on her patrol, she had encountered this member of the Junkers Congress trespassing in Omega-56, and had serious words with him. Since we were going to be in system for some time, she warned us that we might encounter him.

Well, we did.

This ... person ... was detected in system by us, and the following conversation ensued:

Quite frankly, given there has been a question regarding the bounty regarding the .:j:. ships - I woud give consideration to simply just ignoring where this bounty originates and take the combat to them. If they wish to come along and scan our system - then I recommend that we do the same with theirs. A recon in force of Puerto Rico by a force of gunboats, gunships, and bombers would perhaps bring the point home to these persons that we will NOT tolerate their operations in our home system.

If they wish to escalate matters - quite frankly, we have bigger and better guns than they do.

I recommend that you contact this so-called Ambassador Tinkerbell of theirs. Distractions such as this while we are at such a delicate stage in our dealings with the Order could only come from someone allied with the Order. And all allies of the Order are, of course, our sworn enemies, and to be hunted down and exterminated like the enemies to our just and righteous cause that they are.

I commend this to your hands, Guildmistress. Our duty is such that I am composing this while enroute back to Dabadoru Station, to further the cause of our Guild with all haste.
