Maya:

Islay Base, Edinburgh. 09 09 817, 1600 Hours.

"Fellow Gaians and esteemed members of the Green Front, I am pleased to see you have accepted our invitation to meet us here on Islay." Maya Tears greeted their guests as she rose to her feet. To her left sat her eldest sister, Rayna Tears, and to her right her younger sister, Sanya Tears and the first member of the Sisterhood, Tania Reeds. Maya panned her eyes across the room slowly to observe those who had chosen to accept their invitation to meet. "You may consider this a formal introduction to our Sisterhood, the Tears of Gaia. Founded on the twenty sixth of August in the year eighthundred and seventeen. In our short time fighting for the Gaian movement, we have already accomplished great feats, as some of you may have noticed." Maya continued. She waited for the murmurs to die down before continuing. "However this introduction is the not the purpose of calling you all here today. Another urgent matter needs to be discussed. Tania, the lights please." She finished. The lights in the room dimmed, and the projector in the back of the room projected a 3D image of Planet Gaia on the screen behind her.

"Gaia, the planet we all love. The planet we would all give our lives for; And the Liner that plagues it's orbit. The Shetland." Maya set the scene as the screen zoomed in on a rough render of the Luxury Liner Shetland. Maya moved across to the screen before continuing. "As you all well know, the Shetland has been in Orbit of Planet Gaia for many years, offering a tourist attraction to the beautiful planet. These... clumsy tourists are sometimes allowed to land upon Gaia, where they spread foreign bacteria and trample the precious vegetation. Orbital Spa and Cruise would deny allogations that the Tourists are doing harm, but we all know other wise. The time has come for us to remove the Luxury Liner once and for all." Maya explained fiercely, with a glint of determination in her eyes. The projection on the screen zoomed back out and displayed three battle formations.

"Me and my Sisters have spent the last two weeks collecting the necessary funds for this operation. They have been donated to us by generous traders who support our cause. For their safety, the donators will remain annonymous." She paused for a moment, and glanced around the room. "Before we begin discussing strategy, are there any concerns or questions you, my fellow Gaians wish to discuss?" She asked, and left the floor open for other Gaians to voice their opinions.

...
Ariana sat quietly, and listened intently. Since the peaceful solution failed, the Shetland must be forcibly removed. She would happily lay down her life to see the Shetland burn.

She had met the Tears of Gaia just a few days before. All she knew about them was their remarkable ability to turn regular trade captains into patrons of the cause without resorting to violence.
Serena Smith sat on the chair contently, listening to the speech. In her mind, she saw her own flashbacks of her time on Gaia as a child.

She remembered the different animals. She remembered her favorite lagoon, where she used to swim. She remembered the cool winds in the rain forest at night. She remembered the tourists, with the fake smiles, their disregard for the ecosystem, their pollution of the wilderness. She remembered her dead mother.

She looked up with tears in her eyes. Suddenly noticing them, she quickly brushed them off. Here was her chance to fulfill her mother's dream. She looked around at the others, waiting with bated breath for the meeting to turn to the battle plan.
Maya:

Maya continued to pan her eyes across the room for a long period of time, beyond the point of awkwardness. It was disappointing to her that there were no other Gaians out there other than her and her sisters that were willing to voice ideas."No one? Okay. This is the plan that I have devised for this attack. The reason we called you all here today is that we cannot do this alone. We will need the strength of every Gaian we can muster to bring down the Shetland." She explained. The screen behind her zoomed back in to the screen to a formation of triangles. "This will be a simple three stage attack on the Shetland. The fighter wing will draw any Orbital Spa and Cruise escorts away from the Shetland along with any Police in the area. Your objective will not be to kill, only to keep them engaged." The screen shifted to another formation on the screen. "Second, the Bomber wing will approach from the east, each carrying a payload of Nova Torpedoes. The fighters only have to keep the escorts busy enough for the Torpedo Bombers to get their shots off." Finally, the screen shifted to a single ship market in the distance. "The final stage is by far the most dangerous. Nova Torpedoes will only be enough to rupture the hull, in order to disable the Shetland once and for all, we must fly a ship inside, full with Fertilizers and Oil, and detonate it." Maya gazed across the room again, sensing hesitance in the air. "I know what you're thinking, it is a suicide mission. In order to get this ship inside the Shetland, it needs to be small. A Starblazer is being manufactured for this job. The pilot will need to approach on a long vector, line up the ship with the hole in the hull and shut down the ships engine." She paused again to observe their reactions, she knew what they were thinking, it was impossible. Like throwing a dart from ten feet away and hitting the bullseye. "There is.. with this method only a small grace period for escape. Just before the Starblazer enters the hull, the pilot will turn the ship about one hundred and eighty degrees, detonate the bomb and eject. With the cockpit facing outwards, they may just make it out." Maya stopped there, and returned to her seat. The lights in the room flickered back on, and the projection on the screen disappeared.

"Any Questions?"

"...Any volunteers?"

//sorry to hack your speech, this thread came up in another topic discussing pangal events and i really cant think of a way to RP my way into islay.
It would be cool to see this go ahead, and i'd be happy to fly my spa&cruise ship nearby and get shot down if this goes ahead. we need more presence of a "war" between OSC and the gaians on the server.
