Vincent Gate was born into a working class family. His mother and father were a couple that survived by working and keeping the money coming in. His father worked in the smelters owned by Deep Space Engineering melting down the scrap metal that arrived in giant transport ships from the field surrounding the planet. His mother worked in the bar serving the DSE pilots and general patrons. The money combined from both jobs wasn't very much but it keep the family going. When Vincent was born his mother had to take leave from her job and this virtually crippled the family as one income wasn't enough. His father had to put in extra shifts just to tide them over until his mother could return to work. As Vincent grew he began to realize just how hard his parents were working. He hardly ever saw them anymore and when he did it was only when they would trudge through the door to go and sleep. He found himself a job soon after and steadily rose through the ranks at the smelter. Very soon he was collecting scrap from around the field and bringing it planet side. The money was good, so good in fact that he could now support his aging family and help them to live the rest of their days in comfort. A few years later his mother and father passed on, Vincent took them into the field that they one day would have liked to have seen. Vincent set them a drift into the field that they had toiled for so many years to start him off in life. He wasn't going to waste what was done for him. From that moment forward, he vowed to make the best from his life and work like his parents before him.
He stayed working in the field for many years afterward steadily growing in wealth until one day he met a man that offered him a long term job trading goods from Kepler to Sigma-17 and back. He wasn't told what he was hauling only that it made him very rich very fast. He saw his opportunity and he took it. It was a well payed job, every time he completed a run he was payed handsomely. He calculated that for every route he completed he could have sent his parents into the field to gaze upon it for the rest of their lives. By this time he had grown into a cunning business man who only accepted the highest amount for his service. His wealth had grown very large and he was getting very close the limit of Neural Net bank account. He took his chances and sold his transport for a starflier in order to look at ships that he could convert into a home. It was in one of his journeys into New Tokyo that he came upon a woman called Margaret Sierra. They met in a bar on New Tokyo fell in love. Later that year they married and found the ship that Vincent was looking for. It was a brand new Zoner Gunboat and it was retrofitted to cater for a family as well as be a useful business vessel. Vincent Cristined it The.Oslo and they both set off for Liberty Space. Vincent is now a billionaire and it is estimated that his current balance is 1.860 billion credits though nobody but his family can be sure. Vincent now travels the stars exploring and living with his wife as well as his son Benjamin.

Position: Navigator/Mother
Born: Planet New Tokyo Kusari space
Margaret Gate grew up in the middle of a bustling city. Her parents divorced just after she was born and she never saw much of her father. He would only come to visit her on her birthdays and even then it was quick. Margaret worked in a clothes shop designing and creating new styles of clothing. The work was stressful as she had many deadlines to meet. The work was well payed and with the money she could look after her mother and live in a nice house. She was by no means rich, but she got by. She was on a scheduled day off when she met Vincent and she knew that he was the one. They got talking and she found out that he was staying in the area so that he could look for ships. They went out at night and married after a few months. Margaret got word of a brand new ship that was going up for sale at the Ames Research station docks, They both went and look at it and found that it was a very good vessel. Vincent bought it and they both flew it back to planet New Tokyo. It was then retrofitted and Margaret said goodbye to her mother. She promised to come back every so often and it was with great sadness that she left the home that she knew so well. Margaret is now sharing the wealth of her husband and helping him in his quest for more money. She gave birth to their son Benjamin on planet Manhattan and is now the navigator on board the Oslo

Name: Benjamin Gate
Position: Engineer/Son
Born: Planet Manhattan Liberty Space
Benjamin Gate grew up amongst the stars. He travels everywhere with his parents helping them complete their dreams. He went to school on Manhattan and was educated in the field of engineering. He teacher found him quite talented in this field and so Benjamin finished his education quite quickly. His is the engineer on board the Oslo and he keeps the engines in peak condition. He loves his family and will one day inherit the Oslo and will perhaps continue the journey of his parents. Benjamin is the crew member who does all of the ships business. He will go planet side and prices for the goods that their ship is bearing and will make the deals that need to be done. His father (although a very good business man) encourages him to do this by himself because he believes that it will help when he is not there anymore.
