I'd personally like to see more civilian ships so that we mercs and freelancers can use them...

It's sorta... flat. Honestly, it looks like an X-Wing, an Arrow, and a Phantom VHF spliced together with a Border Worlds texture slapped on it. Also, if you look at it, quite a few faces are backwards. See those black onesin the first screenshot? Yeah. Fix those and give it more detail, then maybe Phantom or Hacker, depending on where you go with the detail. Doesn't like a border worlds ship to me. Too flat. Could be some kind of BW/Civilian hybridization.

In general, it needs a quality boost.

Phantoms always get the cool-looking ships. Make it a civilian fighter; we need a sleek-looking replacement for the Slipstream. And no, the Arrow does not count.
