When the war between council and gallia first began, and Champagne fell to the council, the ruling Duke had to flee for his life. Living in exile in Avalon station, it is here that the young Duchess was born. Through the years since the Marne rebellion she was trained in Swordsmanship, and hand to hand combat styles. Always refusing a bodyguard, she roamed the corridors and passageways unafraid, always kind to even the lowest citizen on the social scale. Taught by her father the duke and her mother, a naval leutenant aboard the Cassard, she was taught to always be kind to those who have no ill will, to either her or gallia. Duty was the watchword, honor and justice the key. She would never do anything to betray the trust placed upon her and her family name. Instilled in her since birth, the will to fight and reclaim her ancesteral home was strong, and she expressed interest in the naval forces. Befreinding several naval captains who docked with Avalon station frequently, she learned the ways of the service and the situations with the council.

When she was only sixteen, the duke, her father, took ill. Two years he was bedridden, and finally passed on. When the duke passed away, the title transferred over to her mother, who was serving aboard a Gallic battleship, the Cassard, at the time. She perished soon after in the War for the mine field in Langedoc, when the council cruiser Democratie sealed its fate. Thus leaving Elria the sole survivor of the Ta'Loon line. She sought to gain official recognition from the authorities, the GRN Command, since the gates were now sealed, and no way to pledge her loyalty to her king directly, she wished to join the GRN. However, her loyal butler refused to let her, to the point of physically restraining her if she even went near the fighter recruitment offices on the station. A concession had to be made, "Where could a gallic noble do her duty yet also be somewhat safe?" The answer was not obvious, and soon the butler himself enlisted. The fighter is one of the many that now float among the stars, the pilots fate unknown. The course of action that would bring honor was never so clear to Elria.

The course of duty was one Elria had always chosen. Now, with Gallia under even more threat, she wanted to do more to help her beloved Gallia. Being the last of her family line, she spent what was left in her personal coffers on two things. A set of armor, and repair of her family's old flagship. Sworn to defend her homeland despite the exile from her ancestral claims, she fights for the glory of the Gallic people, and less, for His Majesty. However, unlike many of the nobility, she chooses to fight on the front lines of the conflict, always willing to help allies in need. She specializes in bombardment of enemy lines, using her heavy ordinance from range.

Elria's Creed: Ut incepit fidelis sic permanet
"Valors of the core, Fighters to the Fore, The cruisers march a drummers beat."
"Bombers charge, so swift and sweet, a gleaming scythe, with blades to reap."
"The starry lights as starships die, the burning embers in ones eyes."
"Satisfaction on ones face, the Gallic fleet a death toll's race."
"The fleet moves forth, not Brigand nor Corse, but navy men, with will to force."
"Their opponents nigh, it matters not, death comes swift, and mercy not."
"For all shall see, through deed and blade, the might of Valor, of Will to see."
"Through the moons, and starry sea, the will of One, so plain so see."
"The Chant du Cygne, the Normandie, the Princess call, for one and all."
"The man of fire, the compte too, the will of truth, and honor too."
"The prince of Skies, opponents die, many fall who gain his eye."
"The Duchess of Honor, Truth to see, burning embers three by three."
"The endless march, of freedom ring, they all unite, under He the king."
