I'd like to take an opportunity to discuss a matter of extreme importance as our deadline for our hired escort comes very soon. We, the Zoners Trading Consortium have contracted the Colonial Republic for the construction of a modified Zephyr Battlecruiser to operate as our main scientific research platform in deep space. It will be christened as the "Leonardo." The final touches on the hull of the ship have been completed recently, thus, we are ready to move it to our space in the Omicrons. For this, we have also contracted number of Zoner, Order, and a freelancer for escort of the Zephyr hull. For this, I would like to humbly ask for permission to bring this ship and it's escorts through your space. We had originally planned to go from the taus to the omegas to the omicrons, however we have determined after analyzing some of the premilinary survey data that the radiation pockets that dominate the southern parts of Sirius present a high risk to our new research facility. Especially due to having not equipped any shields or extensive armor to the facility yet. We would feel much safer passing through Kusari territory.

Here is the route we would like to take through your space:

Tau 23 > Kyushu > New Tokoyo > Honshu > Sigma 13

For this route, we will not be using or clogging up any of your trade lanes or jumpgates. We will announce our presence and location to any Kusari Authorities on duty, and encourage them to oversee our group as we pass through. I would like to point out that the Zephyr will have no shields or weapons; however, we would like permission to bring 1 of our own Aquillon Carriers and 1 of our own Zoner Destroyer with us; that is.. carrying a (]c[) flag on their transponders. No other capital class vessels. This is in addition to the number of fighters, bombers, and repair ships with us. As Mr. Yev Lightwing, our head of diplomacy, states, "Please be assured that all parties mentioned in this statement are being contracted by Zoners Consortium for the benefit of Zoners Consortium only." We will gladly provide a roster of participating escorts for you should you choose to accept our proposal. The scheduled date for our escort mission to the omicrons will take place on November 1st (Gran Canaria Standard Calandar). Your acceptance will be greatly appreciated, but we will continue to uphold a high respect for the KNF should you decline. We are hopeful you will help us bring our ship home by accepting this proposition. We will indeed discuss the matter further should you have any questions for us. We understands your concerns.
The Leonardo will be granted safe passage through Kusari space together with repair ships and any neutral/friendly escort up to gunboat class ships.

The stated time and route are agreed but the convoy will be subject to a deviation to Yokohama shipyards instead of crossing the capital planet New Tokyo,
and will resume the course near Shinagawa Station.

The Kusari Naval Forces will provide heavy escort while inside Kusari space and I have already dispatched detailed orders to the IKN-Tawakemono battlegroup for this mission, which will include a battleship class plus escorts.

We are confident that you will understand our concerns around the possibility that a fleet of the nature and proportions originally suggested by the the Zoners Trading Consortium&Associates may attract unwanted attention, drastically decreasing success possibilities.

I apologize for consuming your time and resources, but we are extremely grateful the Kusari have extended their noble hands to help us. If the Kusari need anything in the future, we of course can return the favor. We understand routing us around New Tokyo, but it is a shame we cannot gaze upon it's beauty this time! Should we attract any such unwanted attention, I assure you we will be ready mitigate such issues the best we can without risking any ships or equipment, especially your own. I have already begun briefing the Zoners and Order about the route you have suggested through your space, and I also instructed all capital ships to remain at the ready in the Sigmas. I'm sorry I have to ask, but we would like to go from Honshu to Sigma-19 now, rather than Sigma-13. A ZTC scout had determined the gas pockets in Sigma-13 may cause significant damage to not only the Leonardo, but our escorts as well. I hope this course change will not cause any problems, if so, we will buckle up for the bumpy ride through the Sigma-13 gas fields. Once again, the ZTC expreses our most sincere gratitude for accepting our passage.

the Leonardo's route change has been aknowledged and the escorts has been warned about the destination being Sigma-19 instead of Sigma-13.
Should any further changes be required due to major force causes, the commanding officer onboard the IKN-Tawakemono will be available to discuss them with you.
