About the Commander

Commander - Julianne Gabriel
The commander, Julianne Gabriel, was born on Freeport 9, Julia grew up under the influence of the Outcasts and Zoners. Her father, an ace pilot for the Outcasts, her mother a Zoner native to Freeport 9, she grew up with both worlds. Her father, deciding what was best for his daughter, had her live on Freeport 9 with her mother, far from the corrupting power of the Outcasts in Alpha, and the cardamine that would cause her to be tethered to Malta and all forms of the drug.
Growing up under the watchful eye of her mother, she was raised on both Freeport 9 and on the Juggernaut that her mother commanded, The Audacity. The Juggernaut was extremely hold, and once Julia's mother retired from commanding it, and she inherited the ship, it was in no condition to explore the stars further. In an amazing display of protection of the Freeport in Delta from a Nomad attack, the ship was crippled, and unable to venture forth from the system anymore, unable to jump anywhere out of Delta.
However, the Zoners commissioned a new ship for her to explore into deep space with, dubbed the Audacity II. After a few years with the ship, the Audacity was destroyed in combat with the Nomads, Julia destroying the ship in a selfless act of sacrifice to keep the Nomads at bay. She was believed to be dead for months until her apparent return from the dead in Omicron-74, piloting a severely damaged Zoner Gunboat on minimal life support. She was rushed to ICU for weeks until she was once again able to stand to give her report to the Zoner congress.
She described her escape from the Audacity II, along with most of the crew in other Gunboats just before the ship impacted the Nomad battleship in Minor. Almost all of her crew were discovered in found within months of the report. They were also given time in ICU to recover from their wounds and were eventually returned to full service onboard the newly christened Tyche, Commanded by Julianne Gabriel.
Julia, herself, is a hot head with red hair, earning her the title "Firecracker" or more commonly known as "Halloween", since her childhood. The Tyche fleet consists of a few Gunboats, a couple of Cruisers, and several bomber and fighter escorts, each of them exploring the stars together, to discover new systems and worlds.
