This is Professor Farnsworth, this is a message to the LPI, and LN. The Sentinel 101 unit has been destroyed by circumstances that can only be described as insane.
Initial reports are sketchy, but the Sentinel 101 unit was able to fire three Firestalker missiles at the LPI Headquarters on Manhattan. This is very alarming and a great cause for concern. All Sentinel units are shut down and not to be interacted with until we understand what is going on.
Early reports suggest that an anomaly near West Point Academy caused a BIOS failure, local forces were able to repair the unit, but then the unit acted wildly and commenced an unrestricted re-entry procedure whereupon it was incinerated after breaching 10 seconds into the atmosphere.
We will get back to you on the details, until then.
All Sentinels are to be treated as hostile, I repeat hostile.
We have received the casualty report. We have six officers dead and thirty injured, five of the dead and thirty of the injured were all part of the Sentinel Project Office. We assume this is a direct attack against the Sentinel Office directly.
We have managed to recover almost all of the Sentinel 101's logs via the network infrastructure that the Sentinel signs into to remain active. But we are still combing through the data to find the cause of the attack against the LPI HQ.
We're getting reports that a few of the Sentinel's are also exhibiting strange behaviour and we are constantly getting cyber attacked at the moment. We believe this is part of a smokescreen or something else, or just coincidence.
Stay vigilant, the Sentinels are still deemed as hostile.

Yes, while we have grounded the units under our control, there is a risk that some stragglers weren't shut down, and may become hostile.
We have devoted all assets under the LASP control into finding out what went wrong and fixing the problem, if any with other units.
We are looking into it, but the chief mechanic was injured in the attack, and he was very experience at fixing the Sentinels. Please bear with us...

This is Professor Farnsworth aboard the LPI base Springfield, the HQ on Washington continent on Planet Manhattan has been hit once again by Sentinel forces, this time the damage is near total to the Sentinel Wing.
Sentinel 201 Alpha entered a low orbit above Manhattan and engaged in a precision planetary bombardment of the LPI HQ Sentinel Wing that houses a significant amount of Sentinel hardware necessary to track and monitor Sentinel movements and commands. Said equipment has been destroyed, we have lost the ability to track the Sentinels and their motives. But this shouldn't be happening! We didn't program them with planetary bombardment tactics... we have almost finished our analysis of the Sentinel 101 logs that lead to this issue.
We are also getting reports that all the Sentinel wings have left Liberty space! This is also impossible due to their uplinks being tied to the Illinois station, they can't leave Liberty space without going off-line. Unless someone has a Sentinel uplink server, this can't be possible. We need an immediate investigation!
It has also been deemed that the Sentinel project for the LPI be shut down from official duties and all Sentinels deemed hostile until presidential orders circumvent this.
We, the remnants of the LASP shall endeavour to produce the logs of the Sentinel 101 to get to the bottom of this, this accursed Uprising!

Professor Farnsworth, I'll do a little deal with you.
You provide me with the location of the malfunctioning things and I'll remove them. In return, you don't see a judicial court regarding your properties damage to the LPI HQ. The San Francisco has had to deploy two freighters and an escort wing to help with repairs, and I would really like to remove those cursed robots before they cause even more damage.

While we appreciate the help, uhh.... Captain Karlo. We have no idea as to their exact location. The Illinois Uplink station appears to be malfunctioning, until we have it back online we cannot ascertain their location. But its range is limited to Libertonian core space and the bordering systems, if the Sentinels got further, we've lost them.
However, we did have reports of miners seeing Sentinels flying through the west Colorado mineral fields heading towards the Rio Grande, they thought they were on a deep patrol run.
We are also nearing completion of the Sentinel 101 log reconstruction. There will be an update shortly.
