Born on Manhattan and raised on planet Houston this rough and tumble lad he spent his days outdoors collecting fish and amphibians from the small amount of freshwater habitat that Houston had to offer. He mostly collected African Cichlids fish brought from the old worlds to the new ones because they were so hardy and resilient. In these fish he studied movement in a low gravity atmosphere how they moved, fought and defended territories these all intrigued him bring us over to another hobby.
Livingstons father was a Bretonian pilot for the BAF he never saw him much but respected him. Oscar Livingston was also into piloting and dog fighting. This interested him as much as the fish! the way they moved was nearly the same! He then had an idea to combine natural fighting techniques found with the cichlids and the modern warefare tactics of dog fighting. When he started crafting these techniques he joined the LSF at the age of 18 and did regular patrols of liberty space. In these small skirmishes he used this knowledge of cichlid defense and attack to counter his enemies at every angle. When they boosted and cut engines to drift he was RIGHT THERE! on there 3 o clock with cannons blazing!
After awhile he was promoted to captain but at his ceremony his fathers transport was attacked by a corsair faction known as The Brotherhood on his way back home after retirement. This enraged Livingston and so he took his savings bought a Liberty Assault Battle Cruiser and headed to Cambridge to join the BAF. Upon arriving to Cambridge he met a splinter group of the BAF known as the Sirius Federation. They were the guard..the last defense against attacks in Cambridge. He then decided to join them as they have a direct link to Corsair attacks in the area as well as have the most elite pilots in all of Bretonia.
He missed his fish his precious cichlids and he hadn't forgot about what they taught him. So he named his Battle Cruiser SFBC- CICHLID and after awhile was promoted to Lt. Livingston. To this day he still guards Cambridge and the Bretonian system looking for those [TBH] that killed his father.
