This is the Sirius Times, a new news-holo vision program! We will pay people to submit stories and such, and payment will be worked out on a case-by-case basis. This will also feature Verg's Stock Exchange, to help advertise it and Help others easily see how their stocks are. At the moment, we have only 3 stories, so please send them in!

Pirates invade New Berlin

Today, the priates known as Congo_Square, Queen_Anne's_Revenge, and an member of [N] (no name at current time) attacked New Berlin and allegedly "camped" infront of the planet's Docking Ring taxing unfortunate traders. RM, devestated by their initial attack was helpless to avert the crisis, when several Bounty Hunters arrived and engaged. Later, the pirates left New Berlin, other than that mysterious [N] faction member. No comments from the active RM officers.

Smuggling Increases

Smuggling has increased over the last week, with a record of 7 caught and convicted smugglers in New Berlin alone. RM claims to be tightening security, and promising more scans and patrols of New Berlin, but are hampered as they cannot enter Sigma 13 due to GMG and the treaty signed at the end of the 80 year war.

The likelyness of War increases...

All you pilots out there are gonna start feeling the burn on your H-Fuel costs, because Tension between Rheinland Military and Gas Mining Guild are increasing, with reports of GMG invading New Berlin and RM entering Sigma 13. More news as it develops.

Fire Breaks out at Yuri Neova & Co. Shipyards

Sad news today as fire breaks out at Yuri Neova's company crippling his Shipmaking business. "Although I am not the least bit worried, I just want to make sure everyone's orders are filled, then we will rebuild our company." No word on whether the company will be continued or not, but Yuri has promised that all previously set orders and tickets he offered will be fulfilled.

(My compy that I do all my shipmaking on has a virus, and that virus infected Winlogon.exe, so I cant fix it. I'm evacuating all I can, then gonna wipe the compy clean and start over.)

Sirius world war?

The past year has been filled with conflict and turmoil throughout Sirius. The Bretonia-Kusari war, the Hellfire Legion defeating the Liberty Navy and now the Outcast Corsair war has turned ugly. The Bretonia-Kusari war has seen some of the strangest alliances, with the Mollys helping Bretonia and the Blood Dragons helping the Kusari Navy.

Theres no telling where this can go, and with Rheinland and Liberty on the brink of war. Where do the corporations and pirates fit into this? And with the nomad threat resurging through Rheinland and the Order controlled worlds, could Sirius be on the brink of all out war. With itself?

Look at the facts people, they all say one thing World War. Like in the days of our ancestors, a massively expensive and draining war is in our future. And we have no choice but to save what we can and move away from it all. With the houses destroying each other, surely the house aligned corporations will be forced to use their ships for policing the houses.

And with that terrorist forces such as the Xenos, Bundshuch, Mollys, Blood Dragons and Gaians will surely increase their efforts at dissolving the houses into nothing. So this war will most likely allow paramilitary groups like the Hellfire Legion and Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army to gain a foothold here. Thus compounding postwar reparations should the war end without complete destruction of the houses.

And now with the introduction of MOX-Antimatter charges to the Liberty and Bretonian navies we may see death tolls like non before. Hopefully, we the people can stop this madness before it goes too far

A new Stock Market prepares to rise

Yes, I have an Idea based off of Verg's Rheinland Stock Exchange, but instead of comodities, we're gonna do factions. Essentially, its kinda like the stock-holders of companies. People now will be able to invest into their favorite faction(s). It will be setup almost exactly like Verg's, only the difference is that instead of 6 groups, there will be 12, and up to 8 factions at once will be affected, by a margin of not 12 points but rather a margin of 20 points (I'm going to use 1 6-sided Die, 1 12-sided die, and 1 20-sided die.) All the NPC factions will be involved, and then the PC Created factions (IE Hellfire Legion) will be tied in as well. Also, I will be experimenting with making the stocks not only fluctuate by the roll of dice, but also by events ingame. IE, HF declares war and LOSES, then their stock drops down massivley, but if HF WINS, then their stock sky-rockets. The Stock starts at 25,000 credits, and just like Verg's it crashes at 200. BUT, each stock can be worth up to 50,000 credits. If any have objections, tell them now or forever hold your peace.

Also, I unfortunately cannot do a neat little chart like Verg, so this will be how its setup. Unless Verg wants to setup another chart:DAlso, these stocks wont be changed every 4 hours, but rather 1 time a day. 2 if I have time. Guarenteed at about 4:00 PM ETZ every day.

There will be a new char to collect stock funds, he will ALWAYS be in NY. He will be called NY_Stock_Exchange[F]

Remember, this is just for fun, so enjoy yourselves! And also remember, you can purchase stock at ANYTIME and sell stock at ANYTIME. This will be implemented within a few days.

War!

Today the Hellfire Legion raided Tau 44 in retaliation for an attack on HF (or so they claim) Sources are unable to confirm or deny anything at this point. But it has been established that the Hellfire Legion has sided with the Fanatical Nova PG in their war with the Colonial Remnants known as BSG. Now some comm chatter was detected over the waves. And Drake Thastus himself has declared that the Colonials will be destroyed.

Now with all the houses caught up in some kind of war chaos is building throughout Sirius, and a world war seems inevitable...

-Seems like a good chance for some Mercenaries to get a job... And now for the stocks
