Bio: Born Planet on Houston; Daniel joined the LPI after serving time in prison for assaulting a drug dealer and nearly killing him. Daniel grew to dislike criminals, Outcasts in particular, after his younger brother died of a Cardamine overdose. His parents blaming him for getting his brother involved in the underworld refused to speak with him once he was incarcerated. Upon release, the choice of LPI or the Bounty Hunters guild was an easy one. Hunters he had learned were not to be trusted. Upon joining he force, he was immediately given a Guard position on Huntsville, where he served for 4 years. Feeling he wasn't making a differance, he applied to the SWAT division and was given a position leading a small team. Daniel's rough appearance and attitude make him well suited to working undercover, and his dislike for Outcasts fuel his motivation.

Bio: Born on a transport that his Parents were Transport owner/operators of, Hammond grew up in space. His parents ship was named the Marie Celeste. Phantoms hit it outside of the Cali gate one day, didn't think they left anyone alive on board. When the LPI found it derelict in California 2 days later, Hammond was the only living soul on board.
He was put into the orphanage system, no other relatives could be found. When he was old enough, he joined the LPI. His Piloting skills are top notch, but he attracts trouble to himself.
Twice promoted to Sargent, twice busted for "Over use" of force. Second time he killed the rogue pilot, took his werewolf, and strafed and damaged a bunch of Slaver/Cardi haulers on his own.

Since then Rick has looked up to the LPI as heroes, so it was only natural for him to sign up when he got out of school. Highly motivated, he excelled in the Academy. Bio: Born on Colorado, Jennifer spent her entire life wanting to leave the planet and to do so she became a pilot for the LPI. It was obvious early in her training that she was quite skilled behind the controls. She would have graduated top of her class in piloting school had a training accident not cost her a Patriot and nearly her life as she pushed the ship beyond its capacity. She is a quiet individual who is slow to gain friends. Her skill in flying all sorts of craft gained her the attention of those running the LPI impound yard and she found herself flying captured vessels: she was to push them to the limit and determine how to fly them and most importantly their weaknesses. Razor, a particularly beat up Bomber of Rogue design, has proven thus far to be her greatest challenge yet. Until she fully learns to tame this beast a rough ride is to be expected.

Bio: Raised on a SynthFoods transport, John was forced to fight at an early age when pirates attacked. On that day he fired his first weapon, an old pistol that was dropped by a fallen crew member. Ever since then he has been obsessed with weapons. Upon leaving the transport, John enlisted with the LPI, deciding to join the SWAT division. John's rather large frame however gave some troubles, and it was decided not to assign him a Liberator. He quickly was moved into Illinois, where he tested many confiscated weapons. This is where he met Jennifer and they became close friends. John can be aggressive at times to those who threaten anyone he cares for, but also fiercely loyal to those who gain his loyalty. He is not easily shaken or scared and often finds danger to be amusing. In cases where physical violence may occur, his size is often a deterrent. John prides himself with carrying no less then 3 guns at any time, following the motto that its best to be prepared to shoot something at a moments notice.

Criminal charges have been brought up against him on numerous occasions, but with never enough evidence to obtain a conviction. Deciding to make a positive life change, he eventually disavowed his life of crime. His former criminal friends, angered by his decision, retaliated by murdering his parents. Psych evaluation has deemed him borderline genious, yet not entirely stable emotionally. After several years of activity in LPI, he has shown himself to be almost vigilante like in his duties. Several complaints have been lodged against him for police brutality, yet each investigation into these allegations shows him to be acting just within police protocols.
