Sylpheed's shuttle arrived on barrier gate without fuss, the docking control allowed it's passage without bluster or fuss. As it touched down in the docking bays, Sylpheed turned to his chosen second.

"You know what to do, you vote how I tell you, you can say what you like, but you toe the party line. These frackers won't give us an inch to piss with if we give them half a chance. So trust none of them."

The four personal guards stepped into position and moved down the ramp with Sylpheed in tow. Sylpheed was the largest of the six, but only by a little, the four guards were almost as big. Attentive to every detail they moved on to the quarters they'd reserved. Passing all manner of folks who'd normally shoot him dead given the chance, he knew they'd stick to the fragile neutrality offered here. Which was why it was chosen.

Sirs,

We have carried out all security checks necesssary and believe the situation on board the Barrier Gate to be stable.

Suggest you take guard duty protection ... close combat arms. Stay alert..we will monitor the area for large scale incursion into your talks. Situation remains at peak alert for the duration of your visit.

Heh! Please pass my errr... regards to Sylpheed... He needs to know I'm monitoring these talks very carefully. Use the instant alert transmitters at the first whiff of trouble. Go safely.

The Hand
Keller stood with his arms behind him at parade rest as the group of men approached his position in the small hallway.

"Good evening gentlemen." he said through the audible speakers on his powered suit. "Because of the nature of these meetings, which I'm sure you already know, I'm going to have to ask that you keep all your weapons on safety. We have a tentative peace here on Barrier Gate. I would hate to have to see the one bar we have left on the station that isn't full of blaster holes and blood stains ruined."

Keller mumbled something about the Mandalorians and Bounty Hunters and something about shoving peace where the sun doesn't shine.

"Our men and women of the Children of Conviction mercenaries will be providing security detail while these meetings are in progress and will be watching for any behavior we don't like. We may work for the pirates and criminal under lords of Sirius in space, on Barrier Gate we work for ourselves and strive to make an effort to keep the station in good shape."

Keller smiled.

"However, if you manage to get anyone riled up enough to draw a gun on you, you are allowed to defend yourself in manner you deem reasonable. Just keep the damage to a minimum. If you have any questions, please speak to any Children of Conviction member and we would be glad to give you a hand. Welcome to Barrier Gate Station, all drinks are on the CoC. Enjoy your stay."
Entering the throng from the brightly lit reception area, Takata Ran of the Black Dragon Society made a small gesture to deploy his men around the room...

Time to appraise the situation... "No one seeks to die here", he muttered under his breath looking at the tense, yet excited features around him, then whispered into his lapel transmitter... "Hitomi...join the conference as you will, there is profit for Hogosha here, show your face as our leader and we can benefit"

Changing channels he gave the signal.. "Hand ...Confirming contact,,, stay alert"....an instruction to the Hogosha Security Bureau ships stationed in near vicinity in case of trouble.

"Takata out"
Sylpheed watched the throng, noting the various security present, he didn't trust any of them enough to allow them to provide the entire security detail, Rogues were seeded throughout the crowd and through other areas within the station, communications were terse, most were former LSF or LPI officers arrested for taking bribes or other corruptions. They knew security, and they were the best the Rogues had.

"We're clear, boss."

Sylpheed smiled. The first meeting would likely be the longest, he needed to ensure they all made it through alive. If any of the representatives were assassinated there would be war. They'd have no choice. He didn't need that. CoC, Hogosha, Rogue they could get in each others way if they weren't careful.

"Co-ordinate with CoC security, make sure every corridor we intend to walk through is swept. I don't want any surprises."

Keller walked through the hallway of the station, the semi-automatic machine gun's sling wrapped around his arm as he walked. Normally, his hand wasn't anywhere near the trigger, not even the saftey, but today was another story, there were conflicting factions afoot on the Barrier today, far more than normal.

Bounty Hunters had docked recently and with Rogue and Hogosha on the station already, it could turn south very fast, so Keller was on the defensive.

The paranoid git, Sylpheed, wanted one of his own Rogue teams with a CoC security team at all times. The request was fracking insulting, a spit in the face of the Children. The bastard knew that the Children worked for the pirates and would only attack if action was taken against one another...hell, you couldn't even consider it attack, more of a warning if anything broke out.

Wouldn't want to insult any future clients...but still, his attitude about the entire thing was insulting, made Keller want to put a bullet in his head. For a while, he seriously considered it.

"This hallway is clear." said the Rogue that was with him. He had to admit, his security team was well versed. They had exceptional awareness of everything around them. He had trained them well. Keller made a note to pursue relations with the Rogues in Liberty more often, maybe he would speak to Sylpheed after this entire thing was over with...that is, if he didn't manage to insult Keller a second time...
