The order of Preservers

The Preservers are secret cell of the Order intelligence division founded by elements of both the LSF and the Order.
Created by three agents from a combination of the two organizations, Colonel Kell Tainer of the LSF, Agent Hunter and Omicron of the Order, the Preservers are dedicated to the protection and preservation of mankind, even from itself.
Preserver agents work throughout Sirius within many organizations as undercover elements, gathering intelligence and safeguarding Nomad technology from those who would abuse its destructive potential. Agents are known only by their codenames to avoid putting their cover at risk and recruitment is restricted to those who have proved themselves in the eyes of existing agents. Alongside these agents is a network of dedicated and trustworthy contacts throughout the Sirian houses that are always the first port of call for any Preserver investigation.

The structure of the Preservers is simple. The Grand Master oversees the whole organization from the command and control Osiris OCV-Sajuuk while the Masters oversee various cells, one based in each house of Sirius, working from heavily modified Resheph recon cruisers. Knights form the core of the Preserver Network, carrying out undercover and reconnaissance work as well as surgical strikes should the need arise. Knights go undercover in many varied roles, from intelligence officers in House militaries to traders and freelancers. Depending on the location and nature of their work they usually answer directly to one of the Masters. Apprentices are probationary agents, usually in the process of being mentored and assessed by the Knight or Master that initially recruited them.

Usable Equipment:

- Agents should use whatever ships and equipment their undercover work requires.
- Example 1: An agent undercover in the Liberty Navy would use an Avenger or Defender (or any other Liberty Navy vessel) with Liberty Navy/Navy guard IFF, ID and weapons.
- Example 2: An agent undercover as a Freelancer would use any ship available to a Freelancer with a Freelancer ID, IFF and civilian weapons.
- Example 3: An agent undercover in Synth Foods Inc. would use a transport/freighter or civilian fighter if they were an escort with a Synth Foods ID, IFF and civilian weapons.
- Agents may or may not have Order vessels. If they do then they should be properly tagged, IDed and equipped as such and can be independent or part of the Primary Fleet.
