The Coalition, as true socialists, defend Revolution as the only way to achieve the ultimate goal. Revolution can be achieved through an electoral process from within the burgoise democracy itself, through a spontaneous and massive uprising of the people who overthrow government, or through violent action where the oppressed confront the oppressors and their lackeys. Reformism, understood as the appliance of small changes to the capitalist system in order to better it and relieve injustice, does not approach the real solution of the problem (which is the ultimate removal of capitalism) and can even be counter-reactionary (in the classical stance of `bread and circus' that keeps the masses calm while injustice unfolds).
We, as true socialists, believe that Revolution will come from the educated masses of workers and peasants, and from them alone. No illuminated leader, nor `revolution from above', nor "God, King or Tribune" can break the chains of the people. Only we can liberate ourselves. We, thus, reject any kind of deformed socialism implying a `temporary authority', transitional states or enforced socialism. Socialism will only happen with the voluntary cooperation of each and every individual in society, and revolution will only be real if it is the masses who support it.
Specifically rejected from this definition, and from adhesion to the cause of our group, is anyone who identifies him or herself as: authoritarian (the Gallic King, the Gott-Kanzler and the ilk), capitalist (neo-liberalism, libertarist, Liberty and its Corporations, etc.), individualist (as opposed to socialist, like the Zoners, the IMG and the Junkers) , racist, reformist (those sicophants that would only replace that which is with more of the same...), right-wing-nationalist (including fascists, etc.), theocratic (even the TAZ, and any other kind of god-guided fundamentalist), totalitarian (we need only to look at Kusari for proof of that).
On the Education of the masses.
It is my conviction that education of the masses is an axial element for the construction of socialism and its ultimate goal, the Coalition serves as a place of education and reference, where citizenry can debate and be informed on what the socialist ideals are. Anyone seeking information on the history, facts or philosophy of socialism find it, and they are encouraged to grow with us.
It is not the Commissariat alone that dictates the truth, no, it is we as people that define it. The truth is what we, collectively, state that it is.
Responsible Truth, for the people.
On Ontario
There are important lessons to learn from Ontario. On the failures, both personal and political, and the all important triumph of the people over that adversity.
A revolution is not one man, it is never one man. No, a true revolution is an idea, a belief from the people that there needs to be... nay, that there deserves to be a true and lasting change.
Certainly, one man can be a catalyst, but I was never the driving force behind the revolution there. No.
In fact, it can be argued, that mine was the first blood spilled in that struggle, but it should have been the only blood spilled there. The people were able to shed the yoke of oppression not through force or arms, but through the popular vote.
The power of people standing up and saying no, that is what toppled the capitalist regime propped up by violence.
There were important lessons learned, for me, especially.
On Terrorism
I find I must speak on the issue of terrorism. And not the 800 year-old attacks that I am accused of being a part of. Because, while I am sure that I am getting older, I am hardly that old.
A political movement has a fundamental truth:
"Not instead of the masses, but together with them. Terrorism is an absolute form of struggle that will not subjugate itself to the will of the people. This is unacceptable in the modern age.
Engendered by the absence of a true revolution, regenerated later by a lack of confidence in the people around them, terrorism can maintain itself only by exploiting the weakness and disorganization, minimizing their conquests, and exaggerating their defeats.
The pistols of individual heroes instead of the peoples cudgels and pitchforks; bombs instead of barricades that is the real formula of terrorism.
For too long we and poets of all centuries have composed more than a few hymns in honour of the liberating dagger.
No, the time for Terrorism is behind all of us. Now it is a silent revolution, a terrible silence that greets the threats of our enemies. We do not need terrorists to strike from the shadows, the people have awoken to face the threat.
They will speak, and soon, in a single and resounding voice that will echo around Sirius. And no bombs, and no guns will drown it out.
They will cry "We are Free!"
In Conclusion
In troubled times, it becomes evident that true power resides in those who have been abandoned.
We must dare, dare, and dare again to stand up to those that would turn their backs on they the moment this crisis is passed.
No more, not here, not now, not ever!
For too long Generals and politicos have pursued wars of attrition, and now that the people are finally standing up and saying enough is enough, now those same generals and politicians come on bended knee claiming to shield them while whispering about ghosts of the past, those ghouls spoken about in bed-time stories?
They seek to frighten the people, the people that they have neglected, into standing with their cause?
They decry the failure of Social Democracy, and yet we stand here, in Sirius as a testament to its thundering success.
The Western Alliance tried, in vain, to stamp out a worker movement, tried to buy its way out, tried to sunder and smite it at every turn. But they failed to realize something that is a true fact… we aren’t a nation, we aren’t a single entity, we are a unity of thought.
Every man shares this thought, it is everywhere. It was inside the Western Alliance, it was aboard the sleeper ships, and it is here now.
They cannot run, they cannot hide from a universal truth.
The truth is absolute, the workers around they have had enough of their lies, of their bitter betrayal
Well here, in the Coalition, we have patriotism. A Unity of Patriotism!
They are desperately grasping to hold on to what they have. Claiming that I am delivering the people into the hands of generals and leaders who seek greed and power… My people know that this far from the truth.
The truth is by joining us, they are taking a bold step towards independence they are rejecting those GENERALS, and THEIR leaders. They deny their greed and their power. They are denying them more money for their ships earned off of the backs of their labour. They are denying them more of their children to stuff into inadequate fighters that they sling without thought or concern at ‘the enemy’.
They want to make this about darkness, then so be it. They want to make this about the choices of the people, again I state, so be it!
They attempt, now, to hold one gun up and control a hundred people. This cannot work, will not work for them. If they seek to stop our movement through Martial Law, if they seek to arrest those that have dissent with their opinions, then they have doomed themselves. Can they not smell the grave they have dug?
The government they hold at the moment is a monopoly of Capitalism. It has become a haven for war profiteers who don’t seek peace, and war hawks that pick from the rotting corpse of the people they were supposed to protect.
I hope that every worker puts down his tools, turns to them and cries in one untied voice STOP! Maybe then, with their supplies running out, and no more people willing to die for their cause. Maybe then they will finally admit they were wrong.
They see it is not be external invasion by which they fall. It will be as one-by-one their people stand up and turn their backs on them. They have denied the true human spirit for far too long.
Belittling me and my agenda? They have done nothing, comrades, but strengthen the resolve of these people against their hypocrisy!
