I'm a huge fan of the idea of adding some static transports moored around a lot of stations. One, they can be quickguides for where the quickdocks are, while making the quickdock a more in-rp structure, and two, they will go a long way to adding to the girth of the stations which look rather skeletal right now without the need for retcon or any sort of stretch to our suspension of disbelief.

Aside from the whales, they may also add to the defenses of the base.

However, I wanted to finish it, so here is what I had in mind for final version of it. After all, constructive criticism is always welcome :cool:

For station, I made some kind of mini-shipyard, zonnie lolboat size, with goal of producing that gunboats, that blue thingie from shipyard (blue gas), should be some kind of beam, that should keep ship in place (reverse philosophy of tractor beam - tractor beam is pulling object up - this one is keeping ship in place ), it looks like christmas tree, but well, nothing is perfect.

I also added one mooring point - for transports, with already 2 whales moored, plus some space habitats on right side of station. So... That's it.
The station is very, very neat.
Oddly out of place in Kepler, but rather neat.

My suggestion on stations often revolves around rotational dynamics and the use of pylons. Many of the original stations use a little radial symmetry, or have a structure which is organized around a heavy central structure, which seems a reasonable format for a space station built with interest to gravity and orbits.

I bring this up because your extended pylons, with shipyard and biodomes on the bottom, I feel, are not. What I would suggest, for future attempts, is organizing structures around central sections in a much tighter manner, with an eye to maintaining a radial symetry, so that sheer forces and toque would have less of a destructive effect.

I think you'll also find such stations much more aesthetically pleasing.
